Chapter 5

Lucia's pov:

When Class ended I saw the girl with the pink hair glaring at me, like she wanted to kill me or something, I just glared back at her. I can't belive she 'challenged' me to duel, I'll just see what she has in store for me. I left the classroom with a feeling of her still giving me a death stare, once i was out of her sight I headed my way towards training hall where I have to see her and duel with her. I found the training hall and was greeted by a huge Room the celling was probably like 50 ft from the ground or something, their where stairs to the side where I'm geussing led to the outside garden I saw earlier looking for this place and to my right side was two doors that led to where I'm guessing the locker Room and i was also greeted by fencers whom I have somewhat beaten before, I saw Wionna and called for her.

"Hey! Salix, sup" I said walking towards her.

"Oh, hey lucia!" She said waving at me, I got closer and saw she was next to someone with... pink hair. You have got to be kidding me. The girl next to Wionna turned around and sighed before saying.

"oh, it's you, look Wionna I'm just gonna clean my saber over there if you need me. I don't want to be around this idiot." She said glaring at me before turning her head to where she was going.

"Wow, well she hates you. What did you do for her to give you a death glare?" Wionna asked me. I Can't belive that blight, she's such a show off.

"I bumped into her again and she got annoyed, then she challenged me to a duel and she said that she can easily beat me. Of course I had to call her out on her bullshit since no way she can fucking beat me that easily." I explained to Wionna. She just laughs at me saying.

"So let me get this straight, she said she was better that you and you said 'no' and told her you're better?" Wionna said holding back tears.

"Yeah kinda." I said to her.

"pfft, HAHAHA" She laughs at me.

"What?" I asked her what's so funny.

"Oh, lucia you just made an enemy, a dangerous one. That 'Blight' you're talking about is gonna go hard on you since you challenged her." Wionna explained to me.

"Tsk, Let's just see who wins." I say while grabbing fencing equipment. I got my saber and wore my mask. When the the trainor came in he introduced he's self.

"Hello student's I'am 'Rain Whispers'. You're trainor for the rest of the semester, now I would like to introduce our two best fencers. 'Lucia Noceda' and 'Amelia Blight'" he say while pointing at us. We walked over to him and went into our positions. "Now Lucia and Amelia are gonna duel to introduce their skills to us." He says while getting on top of the big scoring monitor. "Now both of them are attached to this monitor and we can see who will win or who will lose. Well now that's settled we may begin." He says before giving us the green light to start. "READY! ... FENCE!!!" he shouted.

When he said that we started, Amelia immediately went to attack but I quickly moved out of the way and attacked her back almost making a touch and almost winning but then she turned around with such speed and and I felt her saber bending on my chest as i do the same. I was about to crack a joke but i hear the trainor say.

"TIE!" I was shocked and i think so was the Blight. A- A TIE?! i thought, HOW?! I look at the score monitor and he was right, it was a tie. I looked at blight and said.

"Huh, looks like we both win." I say smirking and offering a hand shake.

"Ugh, put that away." She says while smacking my hand out of the way before saying. "It's not over yet. We still have 2 more rounds." She said to me with annoyance in her voice.

"Oh, yeah totally forgot." I say scratching the back of my neck, I look behind me and see the other fencers with there mouths wide open. See in the fencing community 'ties' in a game are usually really rare and we just did it.

"Alright round 2." The trainor said. "READY! ... FENCE!!!" the trainor said. Without think twice I charged at the Blight swinging my sword to defend as she does the same. I slid my saber under and tried to make a touch but the blight had the same idea and both of our sabers touched each others torso.

"TIE!" The trainor said. What, how?! Before I could say anything the blight next to me says.

"You've got to be kidding me." Amelia says out of breath. I was tired and was also trying to catch my breath.

"You know how about we do this old style and fence without the machine?" I suggested.

"Yeah, for once I agree with Noceda, we should just do it manually" Amelia says. Man, she's agreeing with me for once... ok, i thought.

"Well then, so be, manual fencing it is." The trainor said. After he said that we took off our sensors and was free to move anywhere. The trainor again said.

"READY! ... FENCE!" After he said that Amelia immediately went in to attack me but I dodged it barely, I got to admit tho. she is good. I turned around and blocked her attack and was about to push her saber but then she backs up and attacks me again, she and I were attacking and moving too, she was pushing me to the stairs as she attacked with her saber, i walked up the stairs backwards facing her still defending from her attacks. I saw a glimpse of everyone and they had their phones out and was recording everything while following us up the stairs and to the garden, I got to the end of the staircase and me and Amelia and I switched places and now I was the one attacking, I cornered her and she was still defending her self then I pushed her saber making her to let go and drop the saber, finally I gave her a smirk and touched her torso with my saber, I swear when I smirked I felt her wanting to kill me with a glare. After that the trainor and the other fencers saw and recorded everything that happened, the trainor came up to me and raised my hand saying.

"And we have a winner! Congrats Lucia." He says putting my hand back down and offering a hand shake, I gladly accepted it, I looked at Amelia and saw that she was sitting down, I walked up to her and offered her a hand to help her get up, but she just smacked my hand out of the way and stands up picking up her saber, Man this chick is such a prick.

"Look, you don't have to be mad at me just because you lost. It's just a game and you put up a good fight." I say to her. She turned around and said to me with anger in her voice.

"A GAME?! THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK THIS IS RIGHT?!! JUST A DUMB GAME!! HUH?!!" she shouts at me. Why the hell was she so mad, I thought. She walks away leaving me alone in the garden I followed her soon after. Walking down everybody congratulated me on my win I looked at Amelia across the room on a bench and I just see her giving me another death glare. God, what's this girls deal, she lost, it was just one game, I thought picking up my stuff. The trainor dismissed us and i headed for my car to grab only a few of my things for my dorm for tonight, I wonder who will my Roommate be?
