NOTHING COULD make you happier to see two dead bodies on the marbled floor, succumbing into their own abyss. A menacing grin craved a mark on your lips as you made a silly comment,

"Looks like Kiyoko won't be here to cleanse your souls."

Tanaka quietly mourned on the floor as he listened. Tsukishima stopped by to look at the exaggerating sight of his seniors. Forcing themselves to crawl on the floor and make their childish way to the dining room.

These two, are in my way.

"Excuse-" You mirthfully smiled, walking past the others and nonchalantly stepping over Tanaka's body, "-me."

The remaining members in the hallway watched in sympathy as they heard his undying inhumane grunts along with Nishinoya's stifling laughter,

"That's one way to step on someone's soul." Said Sugawara, biting his lips from laughing.

Prancing down the hallway, to the kitchen occupied by Takeda and Kiyoko, you volunteered to help as it would take a while to prepare of table for athletic males.

"You don't have to, Komatsu. After that accident, I think it's best to rest." Takeda worries and chopped vegetables for tonight's main dish, chicken curry, "Minor injuries could led major illness."

Rolling your jersey's sleeves up to your elbow, you happily washed the dishes, "Well, it's not like I haven't been kissed by a ball in my life."

Your enthusiastic comment brought reassuring smiles to the two as they resumed their individual duties. It must have taken at least an hour before Takeda called out for the boys.

Nishinoya and Tanaka came earlier than everyone, much less to your expectations. Thanks to Kiyoko's appearance, the two troublesome males returned to their casual self.

With their help, you managed to set all the meals just as the boys swarmed the dining room. However, as you spun around to get more utensils - you collide against someone,

"Careful." They uttered.

It seemed at first, you expected it to be one of the seniors as they spoke calmly. But when you meet their coloured eyes, you were startled to see it was.

His impassive golden-brown orbs glanced down on you, "Sorry." You replied, brushing past him, feeling an awkward between you.

I was expecting him to be more salty.

Somehow, somewhere, the heavens decided to leave a piece of cake on the floor mysteriously. Because as soon as your back faced him, he apologized in a meek voice.

"Sorry too."

Not sure if you comprehend it right, you glanced behind your shoulders to see that he was striding to the dinner table. Almost as if you heard a soft bristle from outside, in fact, you would say it was just something else.

I didn't hear it wrong, did I?

But the tint of pink in his right ear showed otherwise.

A SIGH OF both relief and exhaustion escaped from your lips as you switched the lights off in the bathroom. Earlier after dinner, Takeda and Kiyoko were unconsciously dragged out of the dining room under some discussions with Ukai.

Leaving yourself to tidy up the room, with Sugawara and Asahi's kind offer – they even stayed to wash up the dishes.

"You doing this all alone will only stiffen your bones." Sugawara insisted on arranging the tables and chair, "Besides you were dragged in to this to help us. The least we could do is, help you tidy up."
