VOLLEYBALL 03 | LIVELY

_WEDNESDAY_

EARLY IN THE MORNING and you were running late, the lone reason that you overslept from binge watching on an anime series that had recently came up in kissanime.ru and had the guts to even read a fanfiction on wattpad.

Must have been tough on being an otaku, isn't it?

Besides you were intrigued into playing a CP game called League of Legends which definitely wasn't healthy to play on a school night especially in the middle of an active week.

To sum the matter up, you only had two hours of sleep plus twenty-five minutes sitting on the toilet bowl.

"Oh crap." You fumbled with your bag, picking up your speed in your neighbourhood. However, an unexpected event had taken fold in front of you.

A horde of elementary schoolers occupied the street you had to go through in able to get on the flight of stairs and few runs then ta-daaaa your school building.

Are you serious right now? A look of distraught painted your feature as your body sulked in dejection, of course - today is the elementary lantern parade and the street would be filled with them.

As much as you admire children, you wouldn't admire the fact that you'll get tardiness on school and so comes the detour ; crossing another street that will take you for about almost half an hour.

"Damn it." You involuntarily cursed, marching out in the streets as you fixated on your round frame.

Unbeknownst to you and the unfortunate stranger who had subconsciously bumped onto your frame caused both you to tumble on the cemented ground, eliciting an afflicting groan.

One being a male from how deep his tone was and by how light he had injured his head, you did too but excruciating than you can imagine.

Is this how high schoolers in anime met their destined others?

Or it's a sign for being the stupidest person on a blank street?

The second question seemed to fit the crisis situation between you two as you pressured yourself to stand up, pushing the ringing sounding in your ears and lend a hand to the fallen stranger, "I...I'm sorry, I was at fault."

"You sure have a thick head." The person heartily chuckled, accepting your hand and stood up to tower your height ; it took your three components - body, soul and mind not to fuss over his gorgeous height and- holy dung.

"I should be at fault too. Sorry to even bother you with my clumsiness." Just as the male opened his eyes to confront your astounded expression, you immediately whisked to avoid meeting his confounded stare.

A weight of anxiety pursued your heart to leave the male and ignore that you met him.

"Miss?" The boy persisted, peeking his head side-ways to earn a better chances of meeting your face but failed as you covered them with your bag, "I-uh... sorry, I should introduce myself and-"

"I apologize again for the accident. I'm sorry but I must go!" Not willing to hand him a heart of finishing his own statement, you broke into a dreadful sprint over the road.
