THE blue jacandras were glowing under the bright rays of the sun, Jennette savored the feeling and stored the beautiful moment in her mind.

They are currently in the Peace Square where there are multiple blue jacandra trees.

'I wish Nana was here' Was Jennette's thought.

"Oi, you alright?" Lumiere asked when he saw Jennette staring off into oblivion, Jennette snapped back into reality and raised a brow at Lumiere's direction.

"Hmm?" She absentmindedly replied, Lumiere tsk-ed and flicked her forehead.

"I asked you if you were alright."

"I am, Lumi. What made you ask that?" Jennette asked inwardly giggling when she got to see Lumiere's face scrunching up when she used the nickname.

"I told you to not call me that." Lumiere rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, picking up a fallen jacandra flower.

Jennette just giggled adorably and turned towards to the place where her Dad's at. Jennette silently approached her Dad who has his back on her, she was considering making her Dad jolt or flinch even a little when she saw his face.

His face looks impassive as usual but his eyes are filled with grief and sadness as he gaze at the trees.

'Daddy looks sad. I wonder if asking him to bring me to see Nana's favorite trees is a good decision,'

Jennette contemplates for a little while before steeling herself.

'Alright Jettie! Time to make Daddy's pain go away!'

———

ANIEL snapped back to reality when he felt someone tugging his robes, he turned his attention to the culprit who kept tugging on his robes; and there he saw his daughter with her cheeks puffed up like a little hamster holding onto a portion of his robes.

'Adorable.'

Aniel allowed himself to smirk a little and bask into his daughter's cuteness for a while before schooling his face back into an impassive one.

"What do you want?"

Aniel saw the way Jennette's mouth formed a pout before raising both her arms up, an indication to carry her in his arms. Aniel just raised a brow at her direction before carrying her into his arms.

"You have feet. Why do you need me to carry you?" He asks.

Aniel, while waiting for Jennette's answer, walked towards a bench.

"Do I need a reason to be carried by Daddy?" Jennette asked, mouth forming an 'o'.

Aniel hummed and narrowed his eyes at his daughter, "Brat. Answering my question with a question.

Aniel heard Jennette's giggles, and as if Jennette's happiness is contagious, Aniel felt himself letting out a small chuckle.

———

WHEN Jennette heard his father chuckle, it felt like the whole world stopped. Her eyes widened to that of a saucer as she stared at her father.

'Wowie. Daddy's laugh is pretty!'

"The reason why I asked Daddy to carry Jettie is because Daddy looked sad earlier," Jennette mumbled, nuzzling into her father's robes.

'Huh is it alright for me to do this? Does Athy do this with his Majesty as well? I wonder how she's doing...'

Jennette felt his father stiffen before a hand was placed on her head, the aforementioned hand started patting her head gently.

"These flowers were my Mother's favorite." Was her Dad's clipped reply.

Suddenly, a sweet strawberry scent wafted through the air, and Jennette turned around to see Killian, followed by Lumiere, carrying two strawberry crepes on each hand.

"Here you go." A crepe was shoved right into her face, Jennette rolled her eyes at Lumiere and stuck her tongue out.

"We have extra crepes, who do we give it to?" Killian asked, taking a bite into his crepe.

"Give them to Lumi!"

"Lumi?" Aniel asked, confused.

Lumiere stared at the Princess unimpressed at his given nickname, said Princess just giggled and pointed at him.

"I gave Lumiere a nickname! He's Lumi now! But only I get to call him that," Jennette exclaimed, she heard the way her father hummed and she contemplated for a bit, "Daddy can too! Since he's the Emperor!"

Killian just chuckled at the contrasting faces of the Princess and the Mage. Comfortable silence enveloped their group, Jennette just smiled contentedly and looked at the sky.

'I finally saw the flowers with my own eyes, Nana. They're as beautiful as you.'

———

JENNETTE was rolling on her bed, trying to think of ways that can relieve her boredom. After plenty minutes of rolling, Jennette finally decided to go to her balcony. Since the floor that her bedroom's in is high enough, Jennette can totally see the breathtaking view of the Lithian Empire.

'It's definitely more beautiful here...' Jennette thought as she let out a sigh.

Jennette's platinum silver hair was being blown by the wind ever so softly, the little girl closed her eyes and savored the beautiful feeling.

'I'm 7 years old now... Which means that by the time I reach 14 years old, Daddy will meet the evil witch. I don't know if I should stop that from happening or not. Since Daddy and I forged a stronger bond now, should I just sit and wait?'

The little silverette heaved a sigh and decided to go towards the library.

As the Princess navigates the castle hallways, she heard the sound of metals clashing against each other, Jennette's ears perked and she took a different route.

When Jennette reached the place, her mouth opened in awe.

'Wow Daddy fights so gracefully, it's as if he's dancing while fighting. Killian's moves are graceful too, I wonder who will win between the two of them...'

Jennette watched the mesmerizing duel going in front of her and observed their moves.

'Eh, will Daddy allow me to practice sword? That would be so cool if he does allow'

But even if the Emperor's moves were graceful, Killian was still able to best him.

'Oops? Maybe I thought too highly of Daddy, now I know that he's not super overpowered'

"Wowie, Killian!" Jennette exclaimed while running full speed towards the knight.

Killian was baffled at first but readied himself for the little energy bundle charging straight at him, "Princess?"

Jennette beamed at Killian while hugging his legs, "You managed to beat Daddy! That's sooooo cool! I thought Daddy was unbeatable in all aspects!"

Killian sweat dropped at the Princess' remarks and sneaked a glance at the Emperor.

"Well, I was your Dad's senior in swords, Princess..."

Jennette's mouth formed into an o, and dazedly nodded her head. She, then, turned to her not-so-forgotten Dad and beamed at him.

"Daddy is still the best for me, teehee!"

Aniel raised a brow at her direction and cocked his head, "Really now?"

Jennette did an energetic salute, "Yes!"

Killian chuckled at their adorable little Princess, and so he reached out a hand and gently patted her head.

Aniel stared at his gentle daughter who is having too much fun being patted by Killian. Slowly, a gentle smile crept into his face as he turned his eyes towards the sky.

Maybe, just maybe, Aniel felt the world settling into a much better place.
