Alone Time

It was a few days after my... breakdown to Jake. Blaine was being even more protective than normal, he even tried to cancel his pre-wedding trip to Flordia with Sam just to keep a better eye on me. 

His wedding coming up puts a lot in perspective. It's almost May, which means next year I'm going to be a senior. It also means that in a few weeks, my baby girl is going to be six months old at the end of this month. The craziest part is tomorrow is Jake's eighteenth birthday. His mom took Kamryn for the night so we could celebrate and be together tonight, and tomorrow we were all going to go out for a big dinner as a family. There are going to be twelve of us; Me, Jake, Kammie, Bug, Sam, Andrea, Millie, Marley, Santana, Josh, Noah, and Quinn. It's a big deal so he is going to be celebrated. He thinks that just Marls, Josh, him, and I are going to go get Skyline, but we are going to a Sakura steakhouse. 

I went to go see him in the bedroom, when I opened the door I saw him on video dancing in grey sweatpants and no shirt.

 "Hello?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

He ran and turned his phone off. He fiddled with the music to turn it off, "Nothing!" He yelled, smiling huge, to make his dimples pop.

I rolled my eyes and laughed, "What are you doing, dork?"

"Dancing," he said, shaking his butt again. 

"Hey now, put that away."

He walked closer to me and started shaking it even more in my face, "I want you so bad I forgot how nice romance is," he sang in an over-exaggerated voice. 

"What the hell are you doing?" I laughed. 

He threw his hands in the air, "You caught me, I was shaking my ass on the internet." 

I saw the opritunity and poked him in the armpit causing him to drop to the floor. Luckily for me, Jake is one of the most tickelish people you will ever meet. 

"Oooo," he shook his head, getting up. "You didn't want to do that Emily Anderson." He picked me up and tossed me onto the bed, attacking me with tickles. 

I wrapped my arms around him and rolled over on top of him. This lasted for about three seconds before he rolled back on top of me and kissed my face over and over.

I raised an eyebrow at his movement, "What are you doing?" 

He kissed my neck and whispered in my ear, "I mean... when I shake it on tiktok, they have to use their imagination," He kissed me again and lightly bit my ear sending tingles down my spine. "But you don't."

He ran his hands up my shirt and across my stomach.  I bit my lip and ran my hands on his chest, tracing his abs and taking in every muscle. "You remember what happened the last time we did this?"

"We are being safe," He muttered in my ear. 

I kissed him on his jawline, "Yeah, we were safe last time too... and look where that got us."

He lifted my shirt and lightly kissed right under my bra, "Are you complaining?" 

"Not at all," I moved my hands down to his v-line, "are you?"

He let out a quick gasp, "Nope."

I laid my head on his chest as he softly played with my hair, "how are you feeling?" He asked, kissing me softly on the head. 

I looked up at him and smiled softly, "Pretty perfect. How about you?" I reached up and played with his hair. 

He wrapped his arms around me and hid his face in my neck, taking a deep breath. "Amazing, I missed being able to have alone time with you." 

"I missed it too," I whispered, scrunching my nose. 

"Do you want to go get some food soon my love?" He asked, kissing the tip of my nose. "We can go get some Chick-Fil-A?"

I kissed his cheek, "What do you want to do, birthday boy?"

"I already got what I wanted, a whole day with you," he whispered, still playing with my hair. 

I snuggled further into his chest, "Well, we can DoorDash some food then, and just be together until dinner tomorrow."

"That sounds like the perfect plan."

We ordered our food from Chick-Fill-A with Mac and Cheese. When the food got here, he fed me almost everything the way he did when we were just kids. Just kids I guess technically we are still just kids, but our childhood is pretty much over. I wouldn't change it though, I wouldn't change us having our baby, or meeting each other. 

We watched a few basketball games because... I mean it's his day. After the games were over, we went on a short walk around the neighborhood. Before it was Kamryn's bedtime, we went to go get her. I am not okay with leaving her overnight.

She gave Jake so many birthday snuggles and kisses that he ate up. After a few minutes, she looked and me and did grabby hands and popped her lips. 

"She realized she could get food from the tap," he laughed, handing her to me. 

I latched her on and fed her until she fell asleep, carrying her upstairs. We each kissed her head and walked over to our bed. We snuggled until he fell asleep. I thought for a while about our plans for tomorrow and surprised him. It was going to be amazing and it was going to be perfect.
