I feel asleep about right after AJ did, he was awake before me so he was probably on look out duty. I felt pretty sick when I woke up, almost like I had to throw up. Louis handed me a trash can that was at the end of the bunk bed, holding back my mess of a hair, And he rubbed my back.
"Iam sorry Louis...." I said rubbing my mouth with the back of my hand my throat burning. "Clem you don't need to apologize." He continued to run my back, in a pattern up, middle, down, up, middle, down, up. I rested my head on his shoulder. "What should we tell them?" I asked. "I don't know Clem- I'll need to think about it. Let's go outside for a while? To check up on the new girl and Isaac." He smiled while putting my hair behind my ear. "Ok lou, let's go." I smiled. "Later do want to go play on my piano?" He asked. "Yeah, sure Louis. I'd like that."
"Me too."
I reached for the door, but Louis stopped me. "Wait Clem?" He stopped. Can I talk to you?" He looked down. "Yeah, Lou what's up?"
"I've been thinking....well I think alot, but this one's different."
"And?"
"Well, I know you don't want want talk about it."
He stopped. "God damnit, Louis. If you want to talk about we can." I crossed my arms. "Louis, look, I know Iam scared too. But Iam still think of a way to tell them, hell I haven't even told them were dating."
"They probably already know, Clem. It's obvious! Holding hands, kissing. Really, Clem? They know, by know." He crossed his arms too. "look, Clem...Iam just saying we need to be ready, because you can start showing soon, and then they'll start to figure it out, there not dumb, Clem."
"I know that...look Iam sorry ok? Iam just scared to see what there going to say. I mean I raised AJ but I can't do it again. It's hard- I just can't, Lou." I uncrossed my arms. Louis opened his arms for a hug. And I hugged him. I could smell his faint smell walker guts, and peaches when he spilt some on him.
"I love you, Louis."
"I love you too, Clementine"
"Now let's go." He said.
