An Aspiring Color (splatoon fan story)

Donnie's Kindness.

As Vian stirred awake he realized something was wrong right off the bat, he looked around and saw only blurs and splotches of color, as he sat up, he looked for the discernible color of his glasses, as he looked around he noticed them on the side table, WAIT, SIDE TABLE!?! ALLEYS DON'T HAVE THOSE! he thought in a panic as he fumbled to open his glasses, as he slid them on his face, he realized he wasn't in the alley but instead in a small bedroom with a warm bed, (that he's laying on) a quaint nightstand and a door opposite the room from him, he heard a loud "BONNNG" which sounded like a pan hitting the floor, then the clinking of porcelain and silverware, then he heard footsteps advancing to the door, he jumped up in a surge of panic and flew to the door, as he ran to lock it he realized it had no lock, he watched in horror as the door was flung open and and the last thing he heard before he blacked out was, "Goooood Morning!"

As Vian stirred awake a second time He felt weight on his calves and a bandage soaked with ink on his head, as he opened his eyes he saw that the boy was crying on his legs whimpering: "I k-k-KILLED HIM!!!" As he sat up the boy looked up and wiped the tears out of his eyes "I'm sorry, Did you sleep well, V-Vian? Is it?, "wait how TF do you know my name?!?" Vian replied, The boy said "it's written on your glasses silly!" And giggled a bit, "my name's Donnie!" then he gestured to the nightstand, where a plate of eggs bacon and toast sat, filling the air with it's fabulous scent, Vian saw this and his eyes bulged he chowed down on the whole lot of it and even had thirds! Once he finished he gave a huge sigh of content, he was gonna like it here!

Harber woke up to their heavy metal alarm, then they slipped out of bed and descended into the Warehouse, here they slept ate and chilled but only just, and when they went downstairs they saw that Kelpi and Gleam were already up, they ran into the kitchen and started making lunch, (it was noon) then Gleam heard a Noise from the Kitchen, "GLEAM, KELPI, THE SOUP'S ON FIRE!" "Wait," said Gleam to Kelpi "HOW IS THE SOUP ON FIRE?!?" she yelled loud enough for Harber to hear, "We were out of beef stock so I used Kerosine!" Harber clarified from the other room "Harber, Kerosine is not safe to eat!" Gleam and Kelpi yelled in unison, running to the kitchen. 

Once the fire was out they made proper soup with a can of chicken noodle, and chowed down, as they were eating Ocho and San made an appearance and grabbed a bowl each, as everyone slurped down their stew Ocho suggested they go to Arowanna  mall today to shop around and grab some dinner, as the mall was not in turf war rotations today, everyone agreed that that would be a great idea and the called up Donnie, he said he was in as long as he coul bring a plus one, they agreed and said they'd meet around 2:00, with that set, everyone split up to get dressed, Harber ran upstairs to their room, Ocho and San went to their room and Kelpi and Gleam went downstairs to their rooms, once everyone was dressed, Fleam in the neo octoling armor and boots with the lil devil horns, kelpi with her Judd mask a green hoodie and flip flops, Ocho wearing his golf visor Deepsea tank and navy Enperrials, San wearing his squidfin hook cans, a basketball jersey and blue slip-ons and Harber wearing a striped beanie, the octoling armor (original) and some blue seahorses. With everyone dressed the headed to the mall!

Donnie heard his phone ring and slunk off to answer it as he got dressed in a maroon tee, pilot goggles and red Slip-ons, Vian, still sporting the same outfit from yesterday, hopped out of bed and pulled his shoes on, then grabbed his E-liter 1k and canned it, then placed it in his pocket just in case, as he wandered around the apartment, he fell asleep on the couch and woke up with a jolt as Donnie told him to get ready for the mall, "turf war again?" He moaned, "No, we're going shopping!" Donnie declared, once they both had lunch and they were all packed and ready to go the headed out the door and Super-Jumed to the mall.
