The fight for the light.

Saturday, 10:30 am:

Kelpi awoke with a start. Today was the day! The day they would rescue Vian and Gadget! Her heart was racing as she equipped her hero suit, with two extra layers of armor (just in case) and an extra ink tank on her back, she bolted into the pale sunlight of the octoworld, and looked around, to her surprise gleam was also already up and dressed, she also had two layers of armor, but she had three tanks, she was going prepared, Donnie had fallen into a fitful sleep beside her, Ocho and San stumbled out of the Base and were in similar digs, only difference Ocho had 2 tanks and San had None, "I have enough natural ink stored in my body for nine whole tanks, maybe ten." Gleam blinked in awe "wait, you can fit NINE FREAKIN TANKS INSIDE YOU!?!?" Just as Gleam finished her fit of screams, Harber walked out into the light, she was wearing an undercover hero set, a set of neo octoling armor, with a lime green earring in their left ear, the right one was black as night, as the pulled on their faux hypnoshades, Kelpi rushed them and gave them a massive hug, "goodbye!" Harber leaped off the cliff to Cepho-landing, the place where the final boss kettle was housed, and snuck in to the Enemy's inner workings.

Vian was unaware, but his body worked fervently, he sewed some elite kelp onto the sides of some discarded octoleet boots, stitched together a ragtag hoodie and gingerly placed a massive samurai helm upon his head, Gadget's, however, was going for a different look, he pulled on a black mask, some skintight armored material and pulled his tentacles back into a small bun. They were ready for battle...

Donnie awoke with a start to gleam gently shaking him awake, "It's time to go." She said, a bit of emotion creeping into her voice, today was either the day the found their friends, or the day they loose them forever. 

As they slipped through the kettle, the team of heroes established connection with Harber, who reported they were aboard the Octobot King: MK. II and that Vian and Gagget were aboard with them, but then the heroes got too deep underground and the communication line severed, leaving Harber's radio feed on static, they feared for their friend but knew that there was only one way to save everyone, and that was going to be hard. The team suddenly fell through the floor and plummeted onto a floating platform in the middle of... the night sky? "Where are we?" Gleam questioned, "I have no idea, but it's soooo pretty!" Squealed Kelpi with delight, Suddenly, An announcer's voice boomed through the arena, and the crew of heroes realized there was a massive audience around them! 

floatinand the octobot king floated down from the ceiling above them, With Vian in the DJ booth/Cockpit and Gadget on the stage above, Gadget had hundreds of special cans all around him, and they were clipped to his belt! Vian had spicy wasabi sticks all around him for the turntable, then the first song came on, a strange remix of Octoling Rendezvous (raan-day-vooz) Began to play, as the beat dropped, several capsules shot from the Octobot's cannons, and when the hit the ground each one shattered revealing an octoling soldier inside, they immediately started attacking the group of Courageous  Cepholopods, and One of them was Harber, halfway through their attack they spun around and threw their hypnoshades at Vian, pinning half of his wasabi sticks to the wall behind him, then they double tapped the earring and all the black rubber material of their suit turned neon lime and a hero shot appeared in their hands, gleam tossed one of her ink tanks to them and they began their attack, viciously cutting through wave after wave of Octolings, but the song ended and another one started, Bomb rush blush, Gadget turned around with a massive grin on his face.

He began loading specials out of cans, Inkstrikes, Killer wails, Bomb launchers, Tenta missiles, Ink storms, Booyah bombs, Superjump-Splashdowns, and Stingrays, the fight became a hell for the heroes, and finally, the song changed, to a remix of "I am Octavio" called "I am Octavian"

The heroes fought Valiantly and almost won, but Donnie stopped Harber from dealing the final blow.  and Gadget were laying on the floor terrified, and Gleam realized that they were still her friends, just trapped and brainwashed, she gingerly pulled of Gadget's Hypnoshades, while Donnie removed Vian's hat and shades. Finally, the fight was over, well maybe not, but still postponed...
