He was trying to convince his neighbors to stay on the island by buying them clothing and furniture for their home. Kelpi and Harber studied him, Kelpi taking notes for when it was her turn, and Harber sat, genuinely confused as to where all the killing and mayhem was in the game, they repeatedly announced, "You should kill that one, it's ugly!" To which Donnie always responded, "No Harber, no killing!"

Gleam and Gadget were tinkering in the garage, while Sansy practiced her Fighting drills, shouting "One! Two! Three! Four! Five!" And taking on the proper pose, honing her skills. Suddenly, the earth shook, trembling with such vigor that things started falling over, the heroes retreated from their makeshift headquarters, adjusting to the blinding snow. Then oozing from the cracks on the icy ground, a strange sludge emerged, when it caught the light it shimmered in a rainbow of colors, but seemed to mostly be a deep shade of raspberry, with small patches of fur growing atop it, it jiggled, as if sentient, but then stilled, "NEW FRIENNNNNNNNND!" Kelpi roared as the leapt upon the sludge, as she contacted it however, it engulfed her, then suddenly popped! And out tumbled a ball of fur, with hands and feet, but most disturbing of all was the eyes, for they were Kelpi's...

Gadget and Sansy opted to stay behind with Kelpi, to fix her up and study the sludge, while the rest of the group went into town to ask anyone if they knew anything, The second party super-jumped to the Splatsville city center, landing just within the fence that marked the border between the Splatlands and Splatsville City. The kids looked around for useful information, but after an hour with no helpful response, they decided to take a turf war break, Vian, Donnie, Kelpi and Harber on one team, with Ocho, San, Gleam and Iro on the other, the group Prepared their new weapons for battle, Gleam armed with the Splat Roller, Harber the splat dualies, Kelpi the Clash blaster, Vian the Inkatana, an invention of his, Donnie with the Splat Bow, San with a replica Hero Shot, Ocho with an Undercover Brella, and Iro with the Tri-Slosher. Once they all readied up, they were guided into a hangar that housed drones that vaguely resembled Cappachino machines.

They hopped onto them, the drones self guided themselves to today's map, Eeltail alley, and the game began, the group targeted their entry points, and jumped into the battle, rapidly inking turf and fighting vigorously, The match ended in no time and the results came in, San's team won by a landslide of course. they claimed the cash and everyone went out to lunch, everyone talking and laughing and having a good time. The group headed back to the drop point, and fell back into Alterna, upon arrival though, they found Kelpi, Gadget and Sansy asleep in the back room. Kelpi had cleared herself of the Fur and it laid on a pile on the ground, it was soft to the touch, and smelled of lavender, the group decided to let the three rest, and left to explore the snowy wasteland...
