The Outsiders- Dally's Little sister Trin-Winston

The Next morning/healing from the soc's attack

Johnny's POV
I'm at Buck's apartment with Dally and Trin , she is still asleep probably  we should probably make sure she doesn't have a concussion and make sure the cuts don't get infected. I walk outta the guest room and find Dally on the kitchen "morning, we should probably go check on Trin"
Dally's POV
I nod "yeah that's a good idea" Johnny and I walk outta the kitchen area and walk into the livin' room she is still asleep on the couch . "Hey Johnny can you wake her up while I go make some breakfast cause she needs some food" Johnny nods and I walk into the kitchen and start getting out the ingredients to make  some pancakes .
Johnny's POV
I Sit down on the sofa and I gently shake Trin awake "hey goodmorrin' how ya fellin'?"
Trin's POV
I open my eyes to Johnny saying goodmorrin' to me and askin' me how I'm feelin' I try to sit up but I'm too dizzy and I immediately just fall back down . "Eh still not feelin' the greatest my head hurts , I'm dizzy , I'm hungry , and the cuts hurt ,I hate the soc's"
Johnny POV
I feel bad for her I remember what it was like when I got jumped by the soc's it hurt a lot for a while . "Hey Dally's makin' so pancakes right now so you can have some food that should help with the dizzyness, and I just wanted to say that it was really brave of you to stand up to the soc's like that and try and fight back your very strong , do ya want some Ice for your headache also where does your head hurt?"
Trin's POV
I smile when Johnny says I'm brave and that it was brave that I stood up to the soc's it made me feel a little better mentally like I was happier . "Thanks Johnny and yeah some ice might help a little bit and my head hurts right here" I point to the back of my head from  where it hit the sidewalk .
Johnny's POV
"Alright how many fingers am I holding up?" I hold up four fingers I'm tryin' to make sure she doesn't have a bad concussion . 
Trin's POV
"Four" I am pretty sure Johnny is holding up four fingers everything is a bit blury but I think I'm okay .
Johnny's POV
"Yep" I'm happy it's not a bad concussion she probably does have a mild one though . "I'll go get the ice now" I walk into the kitchen area and I get the ice pack from the freezer and then I walk outta the kitchen and back into the livin' room and hand her the ice . "Here ya go"
Trin's POV
I take the ice and hold it on the back of my head , I then hear the oven being opened and smell pancakes , they smell so good .
Dally's POV
I start pullin' the pancakes outta the oven and put them on a plate I pull out three plates one for me ,one for Trin and one for Johnny . I put some on each plate and then I head into the livin' room I put the plates on the table then I go back into the kitchen and fill up a glass of water for Trin and I go into the cabinet and pull out the Tylenol I pour two out into the lid and then I walk back into the kitchen  carrying the water and the Tylenol . I place the glass of water and the Tylenol on the Table in front of the sofa . "Here take the Tylenol it should help with the headache and the pain from the cuts"
Trin's POV
I slowly sit up and put a pillow behind me and I pick up the Tylenol and the water I take the Tylenol and take a few sips of the water. "Okay can I have some pancakes now please I'm hungry"
Dally's POV
"Yeah how long has it been since you've had anything to eat anyways? you look really malnourished" I was worried about this since I had found her last night and I know how awful our dad can be cause most times he just doesn't care .
Trin's POV
"Monday morning, dad and I had an argument and I said I didn't want to go to lunch with him because he didn't care about me and told him he was the reason you and mom had to leave then he locked me in my room and told me I could just starve to death for all he cared "
Dally's POV
"Trin it's Saturday Morrin' that's almost five days make sure you eat enough today , you are really malnourished and probably dehydrated too"  I hated that our dad did this but I also couldn't help but think maybe some of this was my fault  for leavin' her there I should've never left her with out father .
Trin's POV
I pick up the fork and start eating my plate of pancakes they taste really good they have chocalte chips in  them .I finish all of the pancakes then I finish drinkin' my water . "Thanks for the pancakes Dally" I'm starting to feel a little less weak and faint now that I had some food .
Dally's POV
"Yup you sound a little better now we need to make sure none of the cuts gets infected so hang on I'm gonna go get the antiseptic it's gonna hurt a little bit so  ya  might wanna whatch a movie as a distraction or somethin'   I go into the cabinet with the medical supplies and grab the antiseptic and a cloth then I walk back into the livin' room pour some of it onto the cloth and I gently start cleaning her cuts with it .
Trin's POV
I take a few deep breaths it stings a little bit but it doesn't hurt too bad it's just slightly uncomfortable .
Dally's POV
She winces a little bit and I feel bad I try to do it even more softly and faster , eventually I finish cleaning the cuts . Then I go get some bandages from the medical cabinet and bring them back into the livin' room I place them on top of the deep cuts so they can heal . 
Trin's POV
I'm glad he is done cleanin them now because that stung a bit I'm also glad  that they are bandaged so it won't bleed as much .  Me Johnny and Dally then all sit on the couch and whatch the movie that I chose it's a Christmas movie .
Johnny's POV
Halfway through the movie I get up and make some hot chocolate for Trin because hot chocolate always makes me feel better when I'm upset or hurt , after it's done I pour it into a cup go back into the livin' room and hand it to Trin , there is some leftover hot chocolate so I get a cup for Dally too then go back into the livin' room and give it to Dally  .
Trin's POV
"Thanks for the hot chocolate Johnny". We all drink the hot chocolate and finish whatching the Christmas movie I get tired halfway through and Johnny covered me with a blanket I cuddle with both of them my new friend and my big brother , then I drift off to sleep feeling better , safe and warm  and happier
