3rd POV
It was rolling closer to Thanksgiving for the Americans, so, as western-culture appreciation in English, the class was going to have a whole thing on it. Class 1-A's teacher, Eraserhead, went through a mental debate, arguing with himself about getting out and teach the class. Present Mic wasn'tgoing to teach their English for the Thanksgiving reason. He stood up in the front of the class, effectively shutting up the kids.
"Now, as we all know, Thanksgiving is a holiday in the United States of America about being thankful for everything they have and, much like our Labor Thanksgiving Day, about the hardwork it took to get what they have." He looked around the classroom, noticing some kids losing interest. "Because I've never gone to America and celebrated Thanksgiving, we decided that we would bring in people who were perfect for the task."
Everyone's head turned to him, slightly more interested. "Is it All Might?" They questioned.
"No, it isn't All Might. May our two visitors enter the classroom?" He called out, signaling for the two boys to walk in.
The first to walk in was a tall, black haired and green eyed boy, who's tan created a Mediterranean skin tone. He stood beside Eraserhead, glancing at all the windows and the faces of every student, comparing them with the list Eraserhead had given the two of them.
Following the taller, a short boy with messy black hair and, in contrast to the taller, was wearing all black. He glanced around the room lazily, doing similar to the taller. His eyebags could compete with Eraserhead's.
Midoriya stood up quickly, his chair almost tipping over. "Oh my- it's you two! Valdez's friends! Ugh, what was your guy's name?" He snapped his fingers, glaring at his desk before looking up. "That's right! Jackson and di Angelo! Aizawa-Sensai, what are they doing here?"
Eraserhead looked at Midoriya in surprise. "You know them, Midoriya?"
Midoriya nodded, but Percy spoke for him. "Yeah, we met at some beach. Too long of a name to remember." Eraserhead nodded.
"Well, anyway, introduce yourselves for those that don't know you."
Percy waved. "Hi! My name is Percy Jackson, and I have lived in New York City all my life, with a few times going out of state and around the Europe area. I like blue foods and the ocean, as ironic as it is. My quirk is hydrokinesis."
"My name doesn't matter, I won't be here long enough for you to find out. Names hold power." The whole class stared at him. Eventually, he gave in to the silence. "My quirk is controlling skeletons and the dead."
Eraserhead took his opportunity to explain their roles in today's lesson. "So. Since you two are from America," he said, "you will teach us as much as you can about Thanksgiving and how it is celebrated there. I will ask questions to start off. First question, do you guys get a day off of school and work for it?"
Percy shook his head. "In a public school, yes, but no. We get a whole week depending on the school."
Nico shrugged. "I mean, I went to a boarding school. We stayed on campus for Thanksgiving, so it wasn't really like school ended. But yeah, our classes paused until a week after."
Eraserhead nodded, satisfied. The whole class muttered, only getting a day off school for Labor Thanksgiving Day. "Great. How do you celebrate Thanksgiving?"
"We eat! A lot! Like, buffet style! Mostly turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole is what my mother makes," Percy exclaimed. Nico nodded and gestured, 'what he said.'
Eraserhead noticed this, and tried to get Nico to answer. "What about you, di Angelo? How do you celebrate it?"
Nico, put on the spot, didn't appreciate this. "No."
