Zailania (pronounce Zai Lanya), Lani for short, is the main character of my Metroid fic series :The Ironclaw Chronicles. She is an Aurealians, a dragon-like alien race that we're brethren with the Chozo.
Lani grew up as a human living among bandits until her life changed. She is able to switch between human and Aurealian forms and is the keeper of the Aurosphere, a device that allows her to record lore and her own memories
