Two associates were heading to a recent catastrophe call on one of the exo-planets for JCJenson: IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE! And yes they thought it was just as dumb as you do that the word space is so elongated. But along their travels things began to grow stale. So one decided to try and spice things up.

"Hey Felix, wanna start a bet on how fucked the planet is?" A younger man named Kevin asked.

"Knowing the level of catastrophe, they're sending us on a basic suicide mission. Possibly the only thing that will survive that shit will be anything inorganic." A flat voice of Felix said getting a mug of coffee. "And did those creations of yours have to come with us?" He asked looking at the newest idea from his partner.

"What the company loved my deconstruction drone idea. Help to deconstruct any and all faulty or dangerous machines using nanotechnology." He said smiling, "I think they could make mortality rates plummet."

"Or rise. If they're programmed to kill instead of your honestly noble idea." Felix said sitting in the captains chair. "Just really wish they didn't look like that... it's kinda creepy."

"Eh, I bet it'll be smoothed out. Just hope there's a way to circumnavigate the fragile sensors to the reflective nature of their metallic bodies." Kevin admitted looking over at his machines and accidentally spilling coffee on the control panel sending them off course at a rapid pace.

"KEVIN!"

"Sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" Kevin apologized frantically pulling a panel off to deal with the arcs and sparks

"Just try to fix it! We're heading straight for that meteor shower." Felix barked attempting to steer the ship around the meteor shower with minimal success.

Just as they were set up to go over a large spark emanated from the controls.

"FUCK! Kevin, I don't think we're gonna survive this alive buddy." Felix said pulling his cohort out from underneath and Kevin sighed as they moved to right beside the drones.

"Your right. So before we die as humans do you know about mental transfers?" He asked smiling uneasily making Felix sigh.

"Just do what needs to be done, and I'll yell at you about the morality when I remember to." He said resigning himself to the whims of his partner. Kevin looked apologetic before taking a needle on a wire out of the machine and bringing to his spinal cord.

"Hopefully this should only pinch before the process begins." He muttered as he jammed it into his friends neck as an alert began to blare and Felix's body went limp as he watched the transfer take seconds to implement.

"Alright, *gulp* my turn" he said quickly jamming the other drones needle into his neck as the world faded to black and the first sounds of the air being sucked out were heard.
