STOP! Before moving on if you notice in this chapter that there is something odd about these characters then you'd be right, these characters come for a show that ran from the late '90s- early '05s, If you know the show then the title makes sense and this is a cliff hanger changer too Part two will be in two days.

Prompt: Ice

Sitting on the stage with the mayor on my right and my family to my left, everything has happened so fast last week we were stopping the notorious villains of our town and yesterday we...I stopped the robber with my Cryokinesis (ice breath) it's been eight years since I figured out, I had ice breath. The mayor smiled at me, as she welcomed me forward the elderly man next to my family was the old mayor who allowed us to use our powers and welcomed us in his own odd way.

I come to the podium, "Hello my fellow townspeople, I am honored you wish to give me this medal. I was just doing my duty as a hero. My sisters are just as powerful as I and I wish you'd all honor them as well, yes my ice stopped them, but I feel without them I couldn't have done it." I step away as the medal was given to me, and my father pats my head. My sisters were given their own medals as the ceremony ended; we return home.

I hang the medal with my other medals and sit at my vanity and brush my hair, "Ugh, why do they do these, stupid ceremonies on Wednesday why not on a Friday or Monday so we don't have to go to school or have a long weekend." I roll my eyes and look at my rough-edged sister. "Why it's not like you do anything on the weekends or work, we're 13." She comes over to me and looks in the mirror and leans against my vanity, "Yeah, but we're almost 14 and we can do more than save the day and homework. Plus, we haven't hit puberty yet it's so boring, we're heroes of the city yet the babies of the class."

Our bubbly sister comes over and starts to braid little strands of my hair, "I don't mind we can still wear cute clothes." My rough sister laughs, "Yeah that's only you, I would rather wear something more my style instead of these little kid clothes that our dad thinks are cute." Rolling my eyes, they've been frustrating lately. "Alright girls chill, we have—" I stop in mid-sentence and sneeze a sheet of ice on the wall. "Dang girl, you nearly froze us to death." My rough sister said as my bubbly sister hands me a tissue box. "That's a first for you, you normally have your powers under check." I begin to worry; I have always kept my ice breath under taps.

We head to bed as I worry about my odd slip-up. What could this be, I'll talk with someone about it tomorrow or request to stay home in case of this winding up turning into a cold. Yeah, I'll tell father that it's a cold. If I continue sneezing anyways.

In the morning I find something I didn't really want. The red on my sheets state enough.
