Moonlight Lands: Fallen echoes

Far, further than anywhere, lies a place that many think is fantasy, but it's real, and the dangers there, they're real too. The medieval lands of Moonlight is threatened by a darkness greater that it has ever seen. The dark one as most call it, a god worshiped by one of the 8 human kindoms on the continent.

Many creatures call the Moonlight Lands home, there are the 8 Human kingdoms, the 14 Icarian kingdoms, the one Atlantian kingdom and the four Drakly rangers groups.

The largest human kingdom is called Lontor and is rulled by a human king named Blandior is by far the most known human kingdom and is the one furthest north.  The lands are fertile and often used for farming. The main city is surounded by small villages and there is ofther knights guarding the limit of the territory, making acess somewhat difficult. The kingdom is also home to many Icarians, or bird people as most call them, they are mostly traders from their kingdoms.

The smallest human kingdom is Acerbus, or the dark kingdom as others call it.  The ruler is uknown as whover enters the kingdom is killed or made slaves, anyting as small as stealing an apple can result in death. The land is mostly made of dessert and marshes that are located next to the Lontor fertile grounds.  They most of the time try to take some land from any kindom to please their  "god". They are mostly kept at bay by the Northern Drakly Rangers.

The Icarians are bird people, they are mostly reconized for having feathers all over their body and large wings on their back. Their colors can be anything and its not rare to see them with beaks. They have a lot of kingdoms, but they consider these as large cities. The most well known is the tropical seaside Undaterra kingdom, professional spear fighters. They are mostly reconizable by their gold and white clothes. Their kingdom is considered a threat by the Atlantians, or sea folk, fish-like humanoids that vary in shape and color. Their territory mostly consist of coral reefs and large beaches.

The draklies, perhaps the race that suffered the most, their only kingdom used to be a hollowed ot mountain with steep cliffs. The draklies are extremely agile, reptile-like humanoids and can easily go up and down cliffs easily. They feeded on minerals they mined, as they mined for food and not money.  They where almost all killed when the mountain collapsed on them, the few that survived splited into four, the Northern Drakly Rangers, the Southern Drakly rangers, the Western Drakly Rangers and the Eastern ones.  They mostly live in or on the outskirt of the Icarians or Human kingdoms, going in and out witout being noticed. Another key feature about Draklies is that if they do not wear cloaks to hide their scales in the sunlight, the burn to a crisp and in the moonlight, they glow silver.

Recently a curse was set by the Dark One on the Icarian kingdom of Undaterra, the King, was cursed and turned into a child or another race, and was kidnapped by the human kingdom of Acerbus, the other kingdoms are not aware of this and the citizen of Undaterra have no idea what hapened to their king.
