Moonlight Lands: Fallen echoes

Chapter 4

Ekrill followed the drakly on the back of his hippogriff, Ryker did the same thing, but whit his horse. The rides didn't look too happy being around Draklies and where constantly agitated. Ekrill readed in books that animals refused to let Draklies on them for unknown reason. He also red that there was 5 drakliy subspeicies, the Alphas, which have stripes and arge increadibly agile. The croakrilioans, or crocodile draklies, have a crocodile-like shell on their backs and are fast swimmers. Bamdariasils, which have longer arms and are the best at running on all fours like a cheetah, sharing the same speed. The krillkrents, they are the strongest and are distinguished by spikes and thick tails.  And last but not least, the Clairienfies, wich have longer tails specialized for climbing trees, this was the subspeicies the most common amoughst these rangers, but at their camp there was a couple of Alphas. The drakly guiding them looked at them. "Don't make eye contact, most draklies here hate that, come this way, the leader will want to see you two..."  Ryker paused "Wait what? What did we do?"  The drakly did not answer.

The leader of the rangers was a tall, male Clairienfy going by the name of Uberime. He had shortish hair and whore the black cloak that every ranger whore, the only diferance being that his had gold trims. When the drakly leading Ryker and Ekrill entered the main cave, he removed his hood. "Uberime? I brought the ones you wanted to see." The Drakly said. There was a moment of silence, the a voice sounded from above, making all of them jump. "Leave them here, go outside and close the entrance." Said the calm voice. The drakly nodded, pulled his hood back on and stepped out, blocking the entrance with tick vines.

Ekrill went to take his sword, but was interupted. "Nah, dont need your sword, i just want to know why you two are here" the voice seemed to be a bit further infront of them. There was a noise of two rocks hitting against each other and a small spark came flying, the spark itself put some specialy placed vines on fire, the fire wasent very bright, but bright enough for Ekrill to see a Drakly hanging upside down whit it's tail."So, why where you two captured by Acerbus knights?" Asked the Drakly leader. "well, if we told you, you wouldn't believe us..." Said Ryker.  Uberime crossed his arms. "What if i told you that my scouts saw you escape from Acerbus, would you tell me, Ryker?"  Ryker looked suprised and didn't talk. Ekrill looked at the Drakly. "We where only passing trought, trying to get him to safty, but the Acerbus knights where faster than us." Said Ekrill. "Right.... you should go to Undaterra, you'ill find help there" Said Uberime. "No, they won't, i ordered the soldiers myself to not let any travelers in!" Snapped Ryker.

At that same moment a drakly pushed the vines to enter the cave, when it saw Uberime, Ryker and Ekrill, it froze. "Sorry, i can come by later..." I started. "Natrium, no get in" He turned to Ryker and Ekrill, "they might let you guys in if you have a Drakly with you, may i remind you that we are considered extinct?"  Natrium looked at Uberime in shock. "Whait what?" She asked.   "Lead them to Undaterra, watch out for more Acerbus knights too" Said the Leader.
