I was in the middle of my slumber when my mom kept yelling my name.
"Sunny! Wake up."
I opened one red eye and slowly sat up. I was too tired to hear any one talk. I could barley sleep because of everything that happened not too long ago. It just felt so surreal. "Yeah?" I said rubbing my eye.
"Oh goodness Sunny, are you okay? You had me worried sick! I almost called the police! Where were you?" she seemed really worried about me, and I felt really guilty.
"Sorry mom, I was at school....they wanted to keep me over for a while to catch up on my work." I lied. Well, partly lied. I knew if I told her anything about Harry she would flip out with 20 questions and I was too tired to hear that.
"You went to school today?" she asked. I nodded my head wearily. "Sunny that's... amazing!"
"Yeah, and I'm really tired so, I'll just go back to sleep then." I rushed. I really wanted to get up early and catch my ride with Harry. I didn't know why, but I trusted him too much, and too soon. It seemed like I met him before, and I felt like he somehow understood me. I had to make sure I wasn't so naive and let my feelings fall into the wrong hands.
"Oh, okay, well goodnight." she smiled.
"Night mom." I said cuddling up in my blankets. Once the doors closed, I couldn't sleep once again. I couldn't let this happen. I barley know Harry or what he's capable of. I went from believing he understands me to this too quickly. I suddenly didn't want the night to end. Harry was going to be waiting for me in front of my house tomorrow and I couldn't stop him.

I was afraid the next morning when I woke up. I flipped out my phone. It was 5:30. Perfect timing. Harry said he was going to pick me up at seven. If I was to text Rose now, then she could get here by 6 and I could leave without having to deal with Harry. Then again, my mom would have to. I let out a frustrated sigh. "Be brave Sunny. This was your choice." I told myself over and over again. Your stupid choice.
I slid out of my bed and walked to the bathroom. My hair was curly today. A little too curly. It looked like a sea monster raided it. I combed it down, but it wouldn't obey. I used the flat iron, but nothing happened. I wanted to scream. Just once I'd like to let something go my way. I took a shower and put on a white cap, a black hoodie with and some black boots. I seemed more comfortable in hoodies. I studied myself. "There. I don't look vunerable now do I?" I said to my reflection in the mirror. I grabbed my bag and sat the school tuition on the table.
I heard the faint sound of music coming from the living room and slowly walked over there.
"Adam? What are you doing up so early?" I asked as I saw him sitting on the couch staring into the TV.
"I felt dizzy." he told me.
"How long were you awake?" I dared to ask.
"About an hour after you came in." he responded. I was sad and angry. Adam had to be exhausted. His eyes were droppy and bags hung from the bottom of his eyes. I sat down next to him. I wish I could stop his seizures, or at least give them to me and not to him, but I knew that wouldn't happen.
"Are you feeling any better?" I asked.
"Just a little." he responded.
Silence.
"Are you hungry?" I asked walking over to the refrigerator.
"Yeah."
I put some bacon and leftover pancakes on a plate and gave it to him. "Thanks Sunny." he said.
