I ran across the street, my heart pounding with excitement and disbelief, even though I wanted to stick with the excitement. Once I got to the other side of the street, dad started walking away.

"Wait, dad!" I yelled and ran after him, even though he was way ahead of me. I kept chasing after him, as tears filled up in my eyes, blurring my vision.

"Daddy, stop running away from me!" I screamed, not caring that I was getting far away from home. I just saw dad. I wanted to catch up to him and hug him and tell him how much I loved him, even though I had the chance while he was alive. I finally caught up to him, my heart pounding with joy. I touched his shoulder, and he disappeared.

I blinked twice, trying to take in what was happening. "No." I said silently. "NO!" I grasped my head. Tears stung in my eyes. I sat against a wall by what I believed was the park. I didn't hold it in anymore. I cried. More like sobbed. There was a huge lump in my throat that made it hard to breathe. I wanted dad back. I wanted him more than anything. He could have still been here if we haden't gone outside. We would have still been living in California if that stupid man hadn't come into our lives and ruined it!

I paused in the middle of my breakdown when I heard some footsteps walk by. I wiped up my tears quickly and saw a pair of converse in front of me.

"You okay?" a deep, raspy like voice with an accent I couldn't quite name asked.

I nodded, then looked up. It was a bit dark outside, but I could see enough of him to catch his features. It was a guy, about my age, maybe a year older. Brown, curly hair, jade green eyes. I was describing him just in case if I needed to call the cops. I didn't realise I was staring until he started laughing. "What's so funny?!" I demanded. "You're blushing. It's okay, I know I'm sexy." How arrogant! "I am NOT blushing!" I yelled, trying not to touch my face.

"Yeah, and you're telling me." He said sliding against the wall and sitting next to me. "You far away from home?" he asked. Ah, he had a british accent. "No, I know my way around here." I said quickly. He tipped his head back and laughed. "You know, I might have just met you, but you're a pretty bad liar." I rolled my eyes. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Harry, who are you?" he countered back. "S-Sunny." I stammered. I wanted to say a fake name, but I was too caught up with just..him sitting next to me.

"Sunny." he repeated. "Weird name for someone who lives in a place like this."

"What do you want?!" I snapped.

"No, need to get feisty. I was just wondering what a pretty girl like you was doing out here so late at night." he said. Waittt.... did he just call me pretty? No. Stop Sunny. You don't know who this guy could be. Yeah, my mind said that, but my mouth sure wasn't listening.

"I thought I saw somebody." I said. No. "Ah, a loved one. Don't worry, I know how you feel. I used to see my mom all the time after she died. People always thought I was going crazy with the hallucinations, ya know?" I paused for a moment. How did he know that I meant one of my family members? "I'm sorry." I managed to say.

"Don't bother. She was abusive anyway." he said putting his arms behind his head. I let out a silent 'oh.' I really tried not to look at him, because every time I did, I couldn't help but stare. This guy was just plain sexy. He looked ripped. When he put his arms around his head, his muscles flexed, and a little fox smile grew on his face. I wouldn't be suprised if I was drooling. And just the fact that he told me, a total stranger so much information in so little time, he didn't seem to mind at all.

"You need a ride?" he asked snapping me out of fantasy land. "No, I'm good I can walk."

Another smile. "You're so stubborn, I'm sure I have an extra helmet." he said standing up.

"Wait, helmet? You never sid you had a motorcycle!" I argued.

"Never said I had a car either." he replied simply, then disappeared as he walked around the corner. Now was my chance to run. I couldn't anyway. I was taking too many chances. It was too dark to run and someone even worse could get me. Even if I did he had a fucking MOTORCYCLE. He could chase me down and I wasn't really fast. I held my breath as I heard the revving of an engine and soon enough saw a sleek, black motorcycle pull up. "Hop on." he said latching on his helmet.

I hoped this was a dream. A really good, yet bad dream. I let out a sigh, struggling to get myself on the motorcycle and finally sat behind him.  I put on the helmet he gave me. I felt taller on it, but my body moved up and down as the engine roared. I swear I thought I would be the very last person to get on a motorcycle. "You have to put your arms around me." he laughed as he saw me hanging on to the back of his motorcycle.

"I'm not-" he grabbed my arms and put them around his chest. My face hit his back really hard."I swear, if you try anything... I-I'll call the cops!" I stammered. "Don't worry Angel, I still have a lot of plans in my life, and going to prison isn't one of em'." I loosened up even more when he told me that and guided him to my house.

I squeezed him tighter when he took off.  I could tell he was smiling, but I was terrified of being on a motorcycle. I couldn't help but smell him when I did that. Does that sound weird? But he smelled like a mixture of strawberries and vanilla. I had to get my mind off of him so I wouldn't be legit sniffing him like a freak.

"Turn left. My house is the third one on the right." I said. Harry stopped in the driveway. "Thanks for dropping me off." I said when I finally got off the motorcycle. "No problem, I can drop you off to school tomorrow if you want." he suggested.

I thought about the offer. NO. NO. SUNNY SAY NO. I smiled. "I'd love that." GOD DAMMIT.

"Great, I'll pick you up at seven." He said and drove off.

I opened the door to my house and ran up the stairs and went in my room. "Sunny, is that you?" my mom asked worriedly.

"Yeah." I said as I set my bag down on the floor and hopped on my bed. I forgot to give his helmet back. I held it aganist my chest and closed my eyes. My heart was beating freakishly fast and I opened my eyes.

"What?"
