This one is obvious. The majority of Y/N fanfiction are female. I can barely find a male or gender-neutral Y/N book when searching for (insert old ass fandom) fanfiction.
No, I'm not telling you to stop writing Y/N as a woman and make her gender-neutral so that everybody can read - I'm simply stating a fact.
