•common in the Wattpad community
•most of the time has common sense
•slightly tolerable than the 2014 Y/N's
•they have a functional brain unlike 2014 Y/N's
•in some fem!y/n books I read, they're mostly a nice person
-some of them also kick ass
opinion: meh, they're fine
male y/n's
•uncommon but still can be found tho
•most of the time has common sense
•sometimes in a male insert, they get shipped with all the girl/boy characters
•they're mostly laid-back and pretty nice
-also kicks ass (props to that one fic)
opinion: I mostly prefer reading male!y/n's more
gender-neutral/non-binary y/n's
•slightly uncommon?
-gn!y/n's can be found if you search hard enough
-although I've never seen a single nb!y/n fic
•very tolerable for me at least
•sometimes a smartass, sometimes a dumbass
opinion: easy to read and open to everyone
