This story happened 2 years ago I can still remember all the unnecessary stuff happening in our house when my daughter died while I was giving birth to her.
My name is Jamie I am married at age 27 with my loving husband Ned, we've been a couple almost 12 years and I'm happy living with him for the rest of my life. We were both contented in our lives and possibly wanted to have a baby for our own sake as a family.
We were both happy when I was pregnant at almost 1 month we couldn't hide our smiles on our faces when my doctor told us that we were having a baby. Things got tough lately especially when you are giving birth to your first child, gotta keep on doing the easy stuff for myself so the baby will be okay in my tummy.
As months went by my tummy got bigger, My husband and I always went to the hospital to be checked by the doctor for an ultrasound. We both find out that our baby is a girl and we couldn't wait to see her being born in this world.
Later that day when I was watching Television my tummy suddenly hurt so bad, it was like the baby was moving inside I could already feel that it was going to come out and I started to bleed severely.
My husband heard me screaming and I told him that the baby was coming so he immediately took me to the hospital. It didn't take a minute to get there since the hospital is not far away from our place and Ned is a fast driver.
"Hang on there honey," Ned said to me looking worriedly and anxious, I know his nervous and I'm also too but I got to keep my guts calm for me and my baby. The nurse laid me on the stretcher and finally took me to the ICU.
The midwifery is ready to help me give birth to my child. It's really painful knowing you have to scream in pain just to let the baby out. After 3 minutes I heard the baby's cry, the nurses were grateful to see her cute little face and they couldn't help but tell me a great job for having childbirth.
It happened so suddenly that my baby stopped crying, the nurse panicked and checked the vital signs of my baby girl they even put her with oxygen in her mouth. I kept on asking what was wrong but they kept on ignoring me cause they had to save my baby's life.
I beg them to help my baby to live but no matter what they do they can't do it. My world stopped that time when my baby died the day she was born. We were so devastated and couldn't think straight. Ned is really mad at me for not eating food cause I don't have an appetite to eat at all, but what can I do? I was so helpless and couldn't move on to my daughter's death. A mother can understand what she has been through after carrying her child in her womb for about 9 months struggling every day from the pain while childbirth is not a joke for every mother in the world. My nights didn't go that easy when every time I and Ned are going to sleep I always heard a baby's cry on the wall. I told Ned but he just told me that everything will be fine coz he probably thinks that I'm not getting over with my daughter's death but it's true that I heard a baby's cry.
Not long after it happened again when I was washing dishes at 8:00 pm I heard a baby's cry again. I knew it was my baby it kept on bothering me for an hour and all I could do was apologize for not saving her life when she died of childbirth.
I promise I'll visit her grave every day, After months passed I bore a child once more and it appeared to be a baby boy this time he was healthy and cheerful not knowing he was the second child I'd give birth to after his sister died, we lived in a normal and happy life with my husband and son.
I still hear the babies cry at night and it doesn't bother me anymore for have I known it was the soul of my dear baby girl who passed away I'll never forget my child, she's forever in my heart and I always adore her for staying in my womb for almost 9 months even though life is cruel to her to be seen the beauty in this world I'll never forget her first cry when she was being let out in my tummy even just for a while.
