Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark

It was October 13 same as this day when my friends invited me to go camping with them in the forest. I didn't hesitate at all since its weekend and there's no classes tomorrow so we can go hang out before studying starts. One of my friends chose to camp in the dark forest in the school not so far away but full of trees and shade that is perfect for camping.

As our camping starts it's already noon and I assembled our tent for us to sleep on, we also made a fire to cook our food and warm ourselves up because it's really cold at night. After we finished eating my friend started a conversation that caught our attention to listen to her, her name is Alexandra she's one of the quiet girls in class. She talked about a tall man with long limbs walking around in the forest near our school almost in our spot.

She said that she always saw that tall man around here even in school. She even said that his face wasn't ordinary and you wouldn't call it a human being. We laughed at her after we heard her stories she even asked us if we saw it too but all of us said no and told her not to make up a story that was not true at all. But she just said it's real and based on her reaction and her voice she was scared and dead serious. None of us didn't pay attention at all, since we couldn't see it we didn't believe it.

After that conversation we go to our tent to sleep, all of my friends are sleeping except for me who is still wide awake and dreaming of stuff. In the middle of imagining I heard footsteps around the corner of the tent, I didn't bother to see it, since I thought it was just a deer lurking in the forest.

But the second sound is unpleasant it nearly sounds like a monster growling, almost just like the sound of an enderman when you slay it in the game called Minecraft. I got scared by the sound and looked at my friends if one of them was awake but they were asleep including Alexandra. I started to tremble when I saw a shadow in our tent a man with a brood shoulder and long arms its head was round and its height was tall.

I told myself "Could it be the tall man Alexandra told us? ". I suspected something was not right, I told myself to go outside and see who the tall man was. I stood up and strengthened my guts even though I was freaking nervous just to see it. I opened the tent but there was no one there I looked around and still there's no sign of a tall man.

"Where did it go?" I wondered and was just about to go back inside the tent when I heard that unpleasant sound again my body stopped and my heart started to beat fast, I slowly turned my head backward and my jaw dropped to see a tall man wearing a black suit it head is pure white and had a round big white eyes, there's no nose and mouth and it's hand is pointy and long.

I screamed that I nearly fainted with fear, my friends woke up because of my screams the tall man was gone and my friends asked me why I was screaming but as for Alexandra she asked me If I saw it, I just nodded in response and one of them is dumbfounded.

"Let's leave here guys before he comes back, he'll never stop until it bothers us," Alexandra said.

I just packed my things up and two of our friends didn't seem to know what was going on so they just packed their things as well and we left the forest. I told everything I saw, and Alexandra seemed to agree with me while my two friends got goosebumps and couldn't believe what I just told them. I still couldn't figure out the man in my vision so I searched online for a tall man and something just came out on the internet a tall man similar to what I'd seen and I read what it was called it was a "slender man" A slender man is a demon living in a forest to scare humans. I was indeed afraid and realized all along Alexandra was telling the truth. After what happened I didn't go in that forest ever again and transfer to another different school.
