✧・゚: *✧・゚:*We finally reached the clinic and I took a deep breath, somehow the sound inside my brain faded away. Let's get this done!
Heeseung glanced at me, making a boosting expression with his face and hands, mouthing, "You've got this!" Which encouraged me to move forward.
He is more adorable and least irritating when he does that.
We entered inside and patiently waited for my name to be called out. I nervously tapped my feet on the floor and thought of what I was going to say to him, I really hope I don't embarrass myself like last time.
"Ms. Lee, its your turn!" The receptionist called out my name, Heesung nudged me with his elbow and I came back on earth.
I sauntered inside the only direction the hallway led me to.
The doorbell made a 'ting' sound and I felt like I arrived at my destination.I closed my eyes hurriedly and opened them again, mentally repeating in my mind, 'don't faint on me, pretty please and for once act like a normal 18-year-old.'
"Good morning Ms. Lee, why don't you take a seat." Mr. Park's cheering voice lingered on my ears glanced at me and I saw him, this time without a clinical mask.
He had curious black-beaded eyes, half swept brown hair and an astonishingly jubilant smile. How did I not notice him being so handsome?
I took a seat right in front of his work desk, I fidgeted my fingers and my eyes roamed around the room.
A metallic name tag sat right on the wooden desk, it read 'Jay Park'. After a long ride through the walls my eyes went back on him.
He was cautiously scanned me and then gave a sweet smile after we made an eye contact. "Are you nervous?" He probed with his honey dipped voice and I nodded my head in response.
"Last time you fainted right? Are you perhaps scared of me?"
Oh no, don't remind me of that, please. I just prayed few seconds ago, don't make me answer this.I just remained stiff in my position and pursed my lips, trying to frame a mature sentence.
"It's alright there's no need to be embarrassed. I am here to help you, make yourself comfortable and speak your mind." Dr. Park imparted in a comforting voice and then chuckled at my expressions.
"I am sorry, I just don't know what to say-" I looked down and gripped my knees anxiously.
"That's fine, it happens, you know I am here to help you, not to judge you, so calm down. How about I start the conversation?" He said sweetly and titled his head to look at me.
I took a deep breath and blurted out, "ask me anything!"
"That's good, so Heeseung told me that you had a nightmare today in the morning, what was that about? Answer only of you want to otherwise we can choose not to talk about this." Dr. Park intertwined his finger and looked at me expectantly.
Heeseung? No horrifics? "You know my brother?" I gasped at him.
He suddenly blinked after realizing what he just said and then pulled his lips under his teeth. There was no going back.
"I do know him."
