Beca's point of view

I still can't believe Chloe is back. She looks beautiful just like four years ago. My feelings are a mess because I want to hate her, I want her to go back home and just disappear from my life but I can't. She's the love of my life. I've missed her so much but our love can never happen. First I'm heartbroken because of Chloe's broken promise. She told me she would be back but she never came. I waited four years for her to come back but she never did and when I wanted to surprise her in Atlanta last summer holiday, she was so busy with her education and going on dates with this guy, that she didn't even notice me. She could've seen me for two whole weeks, since Emily and I were on that same holiday, but she never noticed me.

That whole year Chloe left me here alone, I tried to contact her through messages, calls and I even tried to FaceTime with her, but she always turned down my calls, never responded to my messages or picked up her phone whenever I called her. It was obvious that Chloe didn't want to see or speak to me.

I quit calling and texting her that year after. It did hurt to know that Chloe didn't miss me as much as I missed her. She forgot about me and I tried to move on, which was harder than I expected it to be.

The third year after Chloe left, I kissed a lot of girls and did go out, trying to forget about the person who has my heart but it never worked. Chloe had my heart and maybe she still does.

Last year Sophie came into my life and even though we haven't much in common, I fell for her. Maybe it was because she looks a little bit like Chloe, same hair color and same color of eyes. I met Sophie two months ago and got to know her fast. Sophie, Kara, Lena and Brody became friends quickly and just seeing them with her, made my heart jump for joy. My friends' opinions are very important to me. They saw the resemblance with Chloe and encouraged me to ask her out. I did and now we're engaged. It might seem quick, but I'm twenty-four now and I want to settle. I want the whole package and if I can't be with Chloe, then Sophie is a good alternative.

I look over to Chloe across from me, with all my emotion on the table. Why didn't she contact me? Why didn't she answer her phone when I called? Why did she ignore my messages? Why didn't she come back like she promised? Why did she forget about me? Chloe's sitting next to Kara laughing about something. Her smile is gorgeous just like her eyes, her hair, her mouth... just everything about her is great.

Lena, Kara, Brody, Sophie, Chloe, Stacie, Amy and I are sitting in a quiet restaurant now. It's Sophie and mine rehearsal dinner. All of us are enjoying our meals while getting to know each other.

,,So, to get this straight. I don't do romance, marriage or biological clocks." Amy says.

,,What's between you and Bumper then?" Chloe asks with her angelic voice.

,,That's just experimenting." She gives her a wink and Chloe's face changes into disgust.

,,Oh, come on Amy!" Sophie says now. ,,Everyone needs a man sometimes."

,,Yeah for technical stuff and good sex." Stacie says now and winks at every man in the restaurant.

,,Women are more my thing in the bedroom." I say and look at Chloe, remembering our first time in my apartment. Luckily Sophie doesn't notice that I'm talking about Chloe. Her and I haven't taken that step yet. Some way I always hoped Chloe would return. Chloe starts blushing and looks down. She's so cute when she's blushing.

,,See how sweet my fiance is?" Sophie pulls me in for a kiss.

,,I don't need love. I just change the battery so I can enjoy it over and over again." Amy says and everyone starts chuckling.
