"HOW WAS SCIENCE THIS MORNING?" Takumi as soon as the three girls got to the table he was saving, all more than ready for the recess they could enjoy for the next half hour. "Was it as bad as usual?"

"No, surprisingly," Y/N admitted, swinging into her seat and immediately slumping over her food with a contented sigh. "I mean, he gave us some leniency because first period, but what we should really talk about is Maths last period. I fucking hate non-monics."

Chase scoffed a laugh at that, fingers absent-mindedly swiping over her bandages as she bit into a green apple. "They're easy as shit, though."

"But they're such a trek, and they're boring," Y/N complained back, dramatically dropping her head onto Petra's shoulder and slinging her arm around the other girl's back. "You gotta listen, Petra, I'm literally going to die because of non-monic quadratics, and I want you to bury me i-"

"Maybe this is why I'm in accelerate Maths and you're not," Chase pointed out, still casually eating as Y/N let out another groan.

Petra laughed, patting the girl's head on her shoulder. "It wasn't that bad, and it is recess now, so you can eat and relax instead of thinking about Maths."

Before she could respond, a voice spoke from just behind them.

"Oi, Rall, got a minute?"

Y/N actually fell backwards from surprise, her school skirt just aiding her in sliding straight off the bench with a squeak, landing on her back on the floor in a very undignified position. This at least enabled her to look straight at who had spoken, and she found looking down at her ...
