Morning

*King Teca POV*

I ushered my three sons into the hall outside María's room.

'Quiet!' I whisper shout. They nod viscously.

Today it is María's fifteenth birthday so that means her quinceañera! And today she will be crowned Queen of Teca. We have been preparing her all her life for this, since her sister Maya had no interest in being Queen, Maya just wants to be a warrior like her hermanos, so as promised on Maya's quinceañera day-which is also today as they are twins- she will join the Teca tribe army. Maya has always been a handful as she is never respectful towards others or she thinks she owns the world but María has always been the calm and respectable child. She has always helped others and she loves to play with the children in the orphanages, she is practically their mother. She tells them the best stories. She feeds them the best meals, and best thing of all is she can make them smile. Everyone respects her, not just because she is a princess but because she protects everyone no matter what they have done and she has saved many lives because of this she ends up with more people supporting her than ever.

........But she was born a little.....different......she was born with white hair and two completely different coloured eyes, she was born nothing like her sister who has brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. María has always been different and she knew that but that always made her stronger, she wears her hair down with pride although she would wear a hood anytime she is going outside the kingdom walls, she would cover her eyes with a black scarf or she would cover her left eye with her hair. She was also born with a strange gift. It's amazing gift, but she thinks of it as a curse. She never let's the negativity get to her and even if it does her hermanos are always there to protect her. She is also great friends with each tribes leader and she would sacrifice her life for them and they would do the same for her.

She adores her older hermanos aswell. She has an inseparable bond with all three of them. She can respect and hate them at the same time. It's so funny when they fight. She always wins.

Maya has been distant towards María for a while now and none of us know why. She hasn't spoken to her properly in months and it worry us all.

But today it's about María! Everything will be perfect for mi hija!

'Did you bring the package?' I whisper as the and they nod hold a white and gold box. I take a peak inside. I nod in approval. 'On my command, Uno dos-'

'Tres!?' We all shout together as we burst into María's room.

'Happy birthday and coronation day María!' We all shout in union. The bed sheets only ruffles. Huh?

'Perhaps a little louder' we all nod.

'Happy birthday and coronation day Maria!?' We scream but the bed sheets only ruffle again.

'Staff go' I whisper as I hit Staff to go first. He nods.

'Beloved sister María! Your brother Staff dove into the curse ocean! And swiftly escaped the cluches of the sea beast! And have brought you! The Golden Pearl!' Staff says as he pulls out a massive pearl. The bed sheets only ruffle again.

'Daggers go' I whisper. He nods and shoves his brother aside.

'Move aside! I your brother Daggers invaded a burning pirate ship! Fought the famous bandit Queen! And stole for you! Her jeweled earing!' Daggers shouts holding up the earing with honour. The bed only moves a little. Daggers sighs.

'Shield go' I motion for him. He nods and shoves both his brothers aside.

'Amateurs, your most bravest brother Shield went deep into the cursed forest out ran a deadly avalanche of doom! And found this majestic turquoise bird! And behold it's majestic life!' He shouts as he throws the bird into the air and it hits off the wall then our faces one after the other.

'Hahahahahhahah' we all laugh at eachother. All of a sudden we all shut up as ma esposa walks in. The four of us move to the side as she walks to María's bed.

'Your all late' she scolds.

'But mi amor' I say softly. She shakes her head.

'And second' she pulls the bedsheets of María's bed to reveal a turkey laying in her bed. No Maria in sight.

'Well then-' Staff starts.

'Where is-' Daggers starts.

'She?' Shield finishes. Mi amor sighs.

'I don't know' she says. 'We need her back here immediately, husband will you get Jacha' I look at her and nod.

'Jacha! JACHA!?' I shout into the castle. Suddenly a huge back and orange jaguar came charging into María's room.

'Jacha thank god' Mi amor says softly as she pets the huge cat. 'Please find María for us' she whispers to the cat. He looks up at her confused, he moves out of her grip to the window and looks up towards the roof. I chuckle.

'He found her' I say as me, Staff, Daggers and Shield jump onto the roof. We turn our heads to see María's pale body curled up on the edge of the roof. We all laugh quietly. Shield went over and picked her up carefully.

'She was-' Shield starts.

'Star-' Staff says.

'Watching' Daggers finishes. I smile at the four children in front of me. I would never let anything happen to you guys.

'Come on Mi amor is probably scared for her life' I say quietly as the boys chuckle. We jump into María's room again, I hug Mi amor and Shield brings Maria to her bed. Mi amor escapes my grasp and walks over to Maria and sits on the bed next to her. She sighs as she moves a strand of Maria's white hair from her face.

'María wake up, María' Mi amor spoke gently. Maria's eyes fluttered open, she looks around.

'Morning Mama, Papa y hermanos' she says as she sits up and stretches.

'Morning María!' We all said in union. She smiles at us all.

'I didn't sleep in my bed last night' she mumbles.

'No you slept on the roof again!' Mi amor scolds. María gulps and looks anywhere but Mi amor, she looks to the side at the gifts resting on her bedside, she smiles and turns to her hermanos.

'Did you all venture to get me these?' She asks softly. The three nod nervously. Her smiles gets wider. She jumps from the bed in her nightgown and jumps into her brothers arms. We all laugh. 'Gracias hermanos' she says.

'Anything for you María' the three say as they hug María tighter.

Mi amor and I were in tears at this point. 'I will never get used to this sight' I say. We all laugh. Mi amor walks over to me and gives me a kiss.

'Ew' the four kids gag. Mi amor and I burst out laughing again. Mi amor eyes then widen as I she remembers something important.

'Out! Out! Out!' She shoos the boys away from María and then us out of the room quickly.

'Mama!' Shield complains.

'We want to spend time with María!' Daggers says.

'Yes!' Staff agrees.

'No! Now get out! I have to prepare a Queen so all of you out!' She says as she hits all of us with anything she could find in María's room for us to get out.

'Okay, okay! We are leaving Mama!' Shield shrieks.

'Mama stop hitting us!' Staff complains.

'Rude!' Daggers shouts.

'Mi amor-' I start but stop as she gives me her deadly glare. I gulp.

'Adiós María!' We all shout at María before running for our lives. The two girls giggle.

'Adiós Famiglia!' She shouts back. I smile. She will be an amazing Queen.
