Ridge wakes up and walks downstairs, she walks over to the fridge and takes out the orange juice and pours it into a glass.

"Good morning, Ridge." Susan says, dressed in her uniform. 

"Morning, mom." Ridge says, taking a sip of her orange juice.

"Where were you yesterday?" Susan questions.

"Well me and Kiara hung out at her house, and then went to some party on the beach." Ridge says, setting her glass down. 

That's the first time I have ever lied to my mom about something very serious.

"I heard there was a fight, and a gun was involved." Susan says. 

"Oh, I didn't know that, we must have left before that happened." Ridge says, shrugging.

"Alright, I have to go see your friend John B." Susan says, setting her coffee cup in the sink. 

"Please go easy on him, he's going through a lot right now." Ridge says, putting her glass in the sink.

Ridge sat next to Kie as she played the bongos, all of the Pogues were sitting outside of the Chateau. 

"Look I'm calling it off. All right?" John B questions, turning to the rest of his friends.

"Ridge your mom said, if I stay out of the marsh she'll help me with DCS." John B says.

"And you believed her?" JJ questions.

"Yes, I believe her, JJ." John B says.

"An actual cop, John B. You believed a cop." JJ says, throwing a random ball.

"That cop just so happens to be my mom, and you can believe her." Ridge says, annoyed at JJ.

"All I gotta do is stay out of the marsh for a couple days, and she'll help me out." John B says, "And it doesn't help that your ass was the one shooting a gun."

"You know what, I should have done? I should have just let Topper drown your ass." JJ says, throwing another ball.

"Topper was gonna drown me?" John B questions.

"Sure looked like it to me." JJ says, walking over to John B.

"Funny." John B says, rolling his eyes. Everyone just watches the two argue in front of them.

"Have you looked in a mirror?" JJ questions.

"Tell me some more. Come on." John B says.

"They always, win, don't they, man?" JJ questions, leaning against the wall. 

"Kooks versus Pogues. They always, alway win!" JJ says, punching the wall.

"Goddamn." JJ says, turning and walking away.

"Look, it's okay!" Ridge says, trying to calm everyone down. 

"No, it's not okay!" JJ yells, "It is not! They don't want us to go down into the marsh. That means there's something valuable down there, and you all know it." 

"I know y'all do. And I understand why you dont want to go." JJ says, pointing at Pope, "You're the golden boy. You got way too much to risk."

"And you too--" JJ says, pointing at Kie, and Ridge, "I mean, you guys are already rich as fuck anyway. Why would you bother?"
