Tom's POV

Once again Ciara did not follow her normal schedule. I got to her house and she was nowhere to be seen so I made my way to school.

Roaming around the hallways with a bored expression I push and move past people, making my way through the crowd for at least twenty minutes before finally finding her.

"Ciara!" I called out.

She looked to her right then to her left, the direction that I was in. She gave me a bright smile as usual before beginning to walk towards me. She was within ten feet of my reach when some random guy walked in front of her, blocking the path for her to get to me.

My day started out terrible when I walked to Ciara's house and found it empty. Then it changed when she smiled and now it is ruined again.

I fucking hate people.

I walked away angrily, stomping into an empty classroom. I grabbed a sticky note from the desk at the front and quickly wrote something down.

9:35 meet me on the rooftop we need to talk.

I walked back out and made my way to where Ciara and that guy were before. His name was Chad, I could tell it was him by his shit haircut.

He tried to make a move on me a while ago but I just ignored him. His boyfriend broke up with him not too long ago... I know just what to do.

I put my lovely, heartfelt note in his locker. I waited until 9:30 before making my way up to the rooftop. It was super chilly outside, thankfully I had a sweater on. Chad was already here, good. His dumbass was standing near the edge, what an idiot.

I greeted him as I made my way over, "Hello there."

He turned around, his neutral expression turned into a happy one, "Hey Tom how are you?" He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me securely.

I tensed for a second before realizing my plan will not work if I am disgusted by how annoying he is.

"I am great I just wanted to ask how you are doing since the breakup with Daniel?" I pulled away and caressed his shoulders to show that I cared, well to pretend I cared.

He shrugged, "I'm okay."

"Are you sure?" My hands cupped his cheeks, "You do not need to lie to me."

He grabbed my wrists, slowly moving his thumbs across my skin, "I've just been trying to distract myself."

"Yea coincidentally I have noticed that." Leaning my face closer to his, my hands slid down to his neck.

"You've noticed?" He smiled.

"Yes." Why is he happy about this?

"Thank god I thought we were going to have an awkward conversation about how I like you even though-"

"What?"

His smile dropped, "Are we not thinking about the same thing?"

"I am talking about how you're trying to use my blossom as a distraction." I gripped his neck.

"This is I- please!" He scratched at my hands, "I didn't know you weren't-"

"Interested in men? I have no problem with that. Maybe I am bisexual like you, ever thought of that? I just did not want you chad and neither does Ciara."

"And I am going to make that very clear." His eyes widened as he began hitting and scratching at my face.

His grimy nail dug into my skin more than it should have, I let out a small groan. I could handle the pain I was just not expecting that.

I let go of his neck and punched him before pushing his weak body off the roof. His head hit a metal bar before he landed right in the dumpster.

At least the last face he saw was not Ciara, she is too pure and beautiful for him. I am glad my face was embedded in his brain until his last breath.

I calmly walked back down to the first floor, making my way out of school for no particular reason.

"Tommy!"

I turned around and came face to face with my love, "Hola amigo!" She said as she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug.

"I have not seen you today."

She nods in agreement, "I missed you I- wait.." Ciara pulled away from the hug, her happy expression dropped.

"What happened?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"What?"

"Your bleeding!"

"No I am not." Ciara raised her hand and touched my cheek, it stung like a bitch.

How did his fucking nails do that?

I guess I am bleeding.
