Tom's POV

Before I could begin to protest Ciara was already dragging me to the nearest bathroom. She told me to stand still while she grabbed a paper towel and soaked it.

"How did this happen?" Ciara asked as she dapped my cheek, holding my chin to stop me from moving.

I shrugged, "You don't know?"

"No idea." Obviously I could not tell her so I had to lie, I hate lying to her.

"Are you sure?"

"Yep."

"Okay then if you ever wanna talk about it I'm here."

"Thank you."

"No need to thank me but I will be calling you later to check on you and find out if you've cleaned this again alright?"

I smiled, "Yes ma'am."

—•——•——•——•——•——•——•—

I had been laying in my bed for over four hours, waiting for Ciara to call me. Finally my phone began ringing, I picked up immediately, not caring to seem desperate at all.

"I have been waiting for you to call me Ciara." I said in a tired tone.

"Sorry I just got home but you have my full attention, promise."

I nod even though she cannot see it, "I am glad."

"So am I, how's your cheek?"

"It is alright it was nothing major."

"Good to know I don't want you getting hurt."

"Well thank goodness for my incredibly skilled doctor that made sure I was alright."

"I should personally thank them huh?"

I burst into a small fit of laughter, "You should she was sweet, caring and so pretty. It should be a crime to look that gorgeous."

"Thank you." She mumbled so lowly I almost did not hear her, I know for a fact my words made her blush.

I stayed silent for a moment, "Tell me a story."

"Pardon?"

"A story, I want you to tell me something interesting about you."

"Wanna hear an embarrassing story?"

"Yes, princess tell me."

"Okay um this might be boring but I don't care."

I rolled my eyes, nothing this girl does is even close to boring, that is another thing I love about Ciara.

"Once I was in the shower and my eyes were closed since I was washing my hair. Something touched my leg and my eyes shot open."

She sighed, "Like an idiot, I started screaming because my eyes were burning."

"I banged my head on the wall and slipped right after, hitting my head again. I may or may not have got a concussion that lasted a week and I also totally didn't realize two weeks later that what touched me was my shower curtain."

We sat in awkward silence for a few moments before I spoke up, "I would have acquired serious secondhand embarrassment from that."

She sighed, "Yea that was a bad day, imagine having to explain that to your mom." I chuckled lightly at her words.

As I lay on my bed with one hand on my stomach, the other holding my phone I debated on whether or not I should proceed to do what my dirty mind was telling me to.
