Tom's POVAfter I got Ciara out of the woods safely I took her to the cabin. It is a small, cozy place away from town but not in the middle of nowhere. It is basically just a small house twenty minutes away from everything else.
Inside there were the typical rooms of a house along with a cold room or freezer room, whatever you like to call it. I made sure it was not as cold as it was supposed to be so Ciara could be comfortable. There was a bed and desk in her room, a makeshift toilet in the corner and a dresser.
I had kept her blindfolded until I got her in here, her hands were in cuffs as she stood in the corner next to her bed begging me to let her go.
Ciara knows she is not here just because she witnessed a murder.
"Just let me go Tom please?" Ciara stepped forward, still in her black dress.
"I-I cannot do that."
"I swear I really like you and I don't want this to ruin that. We can forget about all of this!"
"No!" I yelled, she flinched at my voice and backed away.
"I love you but you do not love me yet so I cannot trust you right now." Ciara covered her face and began crying, hysterically.
Ciara's POV
He grabbed my shoulders and shook me vigorously yelling, "Get yourself together!"
"You hear me?" I nodded, hoping he would stop.
He let go of my shoulders and walked to the door, locking it he came back over to me and gripped my chin forcing me to look at him.
"Kiss me."
My lip quivered as I shook my head, "I said kiss me!" He yelled once again, his grip getting tighter.
"Do you not want to?" I shook my head.
His hands moved to my shoulders, brushing his thumbs across my collar bone, "Why not?"
"Not like this please." I begged, tears spilling out of my eyes like a waterfall.
"I love you Ciara, what do you mean not like this?"
"You're scaring me that's not love."
"Do I need to show you that I would do anything for you?" I stayed silent.
"What do you want my love?"
I shrugged, "Tell me what you want and I will make it happen."
"I want to go home."
"That is the only thing I cannot make happen. You could tell someone and they would take you away from me, that cannot happen."
"I won't! I-I promise Tom please?"
"People lie, they break their promises. How can I believe you?"
"You love me is that not enough?"
He shook his head, "I need to gain your trust."
"Tom I really like you but not this situation. If you let me go I'll ignore all of it, I can pretend this never happened!"
"I cannot let you go Ciara, I am sorry." He turned and began walking away.
My tied hands reached out and grabbed his wrist, he looked down at me in confusion. I connected our lips, frowning as I did so. Tom snaked an arm around my back. He held me tightly. I didn't bother to kiss back, I just kept my lips pressed against his, squeezing my eyes shut.
Tom stepped away from me, "I want you to want to kiss me, not feel like you need to in order to survive."
"I want the old Tom." I said, already frustrated with not being able to move my hands around freely.
"What do you mean?"
"The sweet, smart and caring Thomas. The normal one." His jaw tensed instantly.
He turned around and started walking away, "I don't like this at all this isn't normal, none of this is. You're sick!"
Once that last word slipped out of my mouth I knew it was over. Tom turned back around so he was facing me, there was something different about him. I felt extremely intimidated, I slowly backed myself into the wall.
His hands quickly went around my neck, squeezing until my begs turned into gasps for air as I scratched at his hands. Tom knew he could've killed me if he wanted to.
"I will show you fucking normal Ciara." He finally let go and left the room.

It had been a few minutes since he left and I had just heard the door open once again. I immediately pushed myself into the wall as far as I could, closing my eyes.
"I am sorry." He said, his footsteps coming closer. Tom tapped my leg, I flinched and turned my head away.
"I brought you water, drink it please."
I cleared my aching throat, "I don't want it."
Without hesitation Tom gripped my chin and tilted my head back. He poured water in my mouth and continued standing above me as he waited for me to swallow it.
When I finally did he sat down crisscross in front of me, slowly grazing his fingertips over the new hand marks on my neck.
"This is how I protect you." He explains.
Tom's POV
"Protect me? I didn't even- I didn't hurt that guy!"
"I know baby, I know. I am so sorry. It was me okay? We both know it was me but this is the only way you will be safe my love."
"What do you mean? I'm so confused Tom and scared. I'm terrified."
"If someone finds out that I hurt him then they will think I did it because of you, when I did it for you. I was protecting you but they would not believe that."
Ciara stayed quiet, her gaze shifting down to her hands, "I am so fucking sorry Ciara. I will make this better I promise."
She let out a deep sigh, "Would you like to shower darling?" I asked, cupping her cold cheek.
"There's no shower in here."
"True however there is one outside that door so if you would like I can make an exception for today."
Her head perked up, "Y-Yes please, I'll be good."
"I know you will but I need to make sure you will not have any way of leaving me."
She gave me a look of confusion, "Those stay on." I motion towards her handcuffs.
"I will cuff your wrist to mine alright? You do not need to be fully nude nor do I-"
"I'll be naked. I want a proper shower."
I nod, "Whatever you prefer."
Ciara nodded as well and slowly got up, following her actions I stood up and grabbed a small key from my pocket. I motioned for her to hold her hands up, she did just that and I was able to undo one of her cuffs securing it on my wrist instead.
"All good?" Ciara nods.
