[14] First Test

Previously:

" Thanks for waiting. I am Ibiki Morino, the examiner for the Chunin Selection Exam's first test."

And so, here begins the first part of the Exam.

[14] First Test

After the sound ninja were given a warning, Ibiki explained the rules.

" Instead of your current seating arrangements, you will pick one of these tabs and sit in the seat assigned to you. We will then hand out the exams." Ibiki concluded. Naruto dreaded the paper test, as he often slacked back then at the academy. It was obvious that he wouldn't have pass had he written on it.

Then one by one everyone had recieved a tab number. I was one of the last since I was in the way back. I then flipped the tab over, which revealed number,

" 73." I glanced up and was met with dark onyx eyes.

It was one of the members from the Sound Village, Team Dosu. Walking in the middle of the fourth row I sat to the left of the girl.

" Hm, good luck newbie." She spoke.

No POV

Ito only stared, not at her, but at her headband. She got easily annoyed and looked away, hinting that she did not want to be stared at.

" What's your name?" He asked.

" Not interested."

Ito had squinted his eyes and crossed his arms, he wasn't trying to be a creep. Only because Orochimaru was the one who made the Village Hidden in the Sound. Also, due to the fact she sort of resembled Sasuke.

He ignored the Head Proctor, as he already knew what to do.

' Would they count doodles as a mistake?' Ito mindlessly thought.

" The exam will last one hour. BEGIN." Ibiki concluded, signaling the start of the Exam.

Everyone turned their paper over to begin writing. Ito sighed to himself, knowing he had a full hour to spare. He pulled at his sleeve before resting his arms onto the desk.

Meanwhile, Sakura and Sasuke were mentally cursing at Naruto, since he was terrible on paper tests.

Sasuke POV

" ..."

I looked over at Naruto, to check if he was confident on the test. But he reacted the opposite.

' Damn, this is bad.. Looks like Naruto's already freaking out.'

I stared back at my paper, seeing that the first question was based off deciphering a cryptogram.

It sucked bad, since these questions were unfamiliar to me. Plus, what's with question 10? I smiled, knowing that I may not answer these correctly. Sakura could manage, but definitely not that Dobe.

I was tempted to look back to see if Ito was dealing with the same issue, but I kept facing forward to not risk our team losing a point.

I heard a fart noise, along with a slight chuckle. Of course, the idiot was sitting behind me, most likely to my right.

' I'm not sure if you'll pass this, Ito.'

No POV

" Childish." Kin huffed out, not bothering to give Ito a glance.
