Jennie thought of the Maybach that had just stopped downstairs in the company and the behind-the-scenes supporter mentioned by Sister Su.

Jennie immediately thought of Lisa. Apart from Lisa, she couldn't think of anyone who would help her in her current situation.

Instead of going straight home, Jennie went straight to the mall and was going to buy some pork bones for Lisa to boil soup.

As soon as she got home, Jennie began to boil soup which lasted till late at night.  The whole house was filled with a strong aroma.

At this point, the sky was completely dark, and the dark night sky was illuminated by neon lights. After pouring the soup into the thermos, she immediately left for the hospital.

Jennie wore an inconspicuous dark t-shirt with her hat pressed down, and her mask covered almost half of her face.

The paparazzi at the entrance of the hospital had just left. They squatted for a few days and did not get any breaking news. They returned without success.

Jennie got on the elevator and went straight to the floor of Lisa's ward. When she opened the door, Lisa was leaning on the bedside and looking down at the book in her hand.

Lisa was wearing a hospital gown, but it was still pleasing to the eye. There was only a small lamp that lit up the whole room and everything in the room was immersed in the dim and warm light.

When he heard the sound of opening the door, he looked up and his eyes fell on Jennie. He closed the book with his thin, long fingers. 

After Jennie closed the door, her eyes fell on the wall clock. She noticed that it was nine o'clock in the evening. Lisa had eaten dinner long ago.

Jennie subconsciously hid the thermos cup in her hands. She thought that Lisa didn't notice it and immediately shifted the topic.

"I want to thank you in person."

Jennie's small actions all fell into Lisa's eyes, Lisa raised an eyebrow: "Thank me?"

Jennie affirmed: "The phone call that Sister Su received today has something to do with you, right?"

Lisa did not deny it and nodded in recognition.

Jennie: "Who were the ones in the Maybach?"

Lisa's deep voice fell: "They were Manoban family lawyers. You should know that the Manoban family has the best lawyers."

Jennie was stunned.

"If the company makes things difficult for you when you terminate the contract ... then go through the legal process." Lisa glanced slightly, looking at her.

Jennie did not expect Lisa to help her in this way. Instead, she owed Lisa more and more. She said unconsciously, "Thank you."

Lisa gave a low laugh. His low-pitched laugh rippled into the air. It seemed to linger close to Jennie's ear.

The next second, Lisa said, " Then how do you want to thank me?"

Jennie didn't respond: "What?"

Lisa lifted his chin, his eyes fell on the thermos cup behind Jennie: "Didn't you bring a gift?"

Jennie stiffen, and she took out the thermos cup slowly. How could Lisa not find out the series of actions she had just made just now?

Instead of handing it to Lisa, Jennie explained: "You have finished dinner, so you don't have to drink this."
