My Possessive Stepsister

CHAPTER 3

JENNIE'S POV

Today was hectic. A new student came, a delinquent at that. Injured by my best friend, she had a lot of scars on her back, and it looked like it had just occurred

The student council had a lot to cover because of the blood accident and that same student skipped school right on her first day, and teacher has remarried a woman who has a child around my age which I didn't even know of

Right now I am on my way to my new home and I still had that blonde's phone

As I entered the apartment it felt empty, I rang the doorbell and was met by my stepmother

As I was about to say my greetings she suddenly hugged me and greeted me warmly

"Hello Jennie, I have heard a lot about you, come in, your sister will probably arrive here late," she says enthusiastically

"Ahh...thank you," I said flustered as I was not used to this. She is so lively, but it isn't a bad thing

Mother helped me settle in, as I was venturing inside the house I noticed there was an extra room

"Is there someone else living here except you and your daughter?" I asked

"Hmm? No there isn't" Jihyun answered

"Then what is that room used for?" I asked again

Jihyun freezes and answers with sadness heard from her voice

"That is umm...a room that was rarely used," She said with guilt

That must've been her former husband's room

I simply nodded

Suddenly the door unlocked and a blonde came in, I was quite shocked honestly

As soon as she saw me she froze and she looked furious. Why? Does she hate me that much? My stepmother was about to greet her but then she froze when she saw the blond's expression

I was about to say something to her when she ignored me and dragged Mother to a room

I didn't even get a chance to say anything

LISA'S POV

I was going home but stopped at a clinic as my back ached, I went to buy some medicines and on the way back I was stopped by some hooligans blocking my path, I wanted to finish things quickly so I did what makes sense in this situation and knocked them out, ignoring people's stares

As I went to the apartment and opened the door, the first thing I was wasn't my mom but the student council president

I was shocked when I noticed she was unpacking her things or something it looks to me like she was moving in

But why? Anger gushed over me as I thought hard about it

Why is she here? Did grandmother send her?

I hurriedly dragged my mother to the room and asks her what the hell is going on

"Mama, why is she here?" I asked coldly, sending chills to her

"Honey, she is uh....your stepsister," she said awkwardly while fidgeting her fingers

"What? How could I have a stepsister out of nowhere?" I asked again not changing my tone while Mother kept thinking about how to tell the news

"Umm...the thing is uh...I got remarried" Jihyun said nervously afraid of her daughter's response

I just glared at her and my eyes reflected disappointment

I stayed silent

How could she? After what we went through she decided to move on and didn't even bother telling me

"What about Father? I even let you torture me so you could get over the fact that he died. I didn't ask you to move on from him. Why? Why would you even do something like that? Didn't you love him? Why did you marry another guy!" Did I ask for an explanation? I never spoke this much to anybody in a while

I coldly stared at her and asks her for answers. She gulped nervously and started explaining

"Umm..so I first met Soohyun at a bar, at that time I was frustrated at myself for doing what I did to you, Lali"

I motioned her to continue

"I was drinking too much at that time and didn't notice the bar was closing but I stayed a little longer. Then I saw someone still drinking a hard time too, he looked at me and asked if I encountered any problem, I replied to him and said that I have a few problems with my daughter unexpectedly he was too"

"We talked and contacted each other almost every day, we got closer and he suddenly proposed to me and told me that maybe if we got married our daughters could get along and that's what happened" Mom explained nervously

"Do you have feelings for him? Is he even a good guy, you met him at a bar!" I asked doubtingly

"Y-yes of course and I know he is a good guy" Mom replied stuttering

"Hah...if it's what you want I will not intervene but I will never acknowledge any man becoming my father," I said standing up from my seat

"Thank you, Lali. But I still have something to say..."

I signed. "If it's about all the cruel things you did, I never hated you for that and if it's about his daughter I will try to get along with her"

"Thank you, Lis" Mom said smiling warmly

I just nodded and went out of the room. Jennie was sitting on the couch waiting patiently

"Ms. Kim it is a PLEASANT surprise seeing you here!" I said in a sarcastic tone telling her I was annoyed

Don't you dare blame me, I didn't even know you were my stepsister

Jennie wanted to say that but kept it in her thoughts

She didn't reply anything, I signed and asked her to follow me to OUR bedroom. She nodded and followed after

"This is the room, I rarely slept in beds so I didn't add one here there is a futon"

I then took the futon and placed It comfortably so that she can rest peacefully

I didn't think she has anything to say to me so I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom
