JENNIE'S POV

I woke up due to extreme brightness. My eyes flutter open seeing the familiar ceiling

I jolted up and scanned the room as tears rolled down my face

I am back in this wicked place. The empty hallways, the old design, the familiar smell

I clenched my bedsheet as tears were still streaming down my face

I then noticed a small box at my table. I walked over trying not to fall. I reached over and opened the box. I teared up again as soon as I saw what was inside

"Why didn't you say goodbye? Why did you take me here? Why aren't you telling me anything? At least give a letter or something!"

"Why aren't you explaining anything? Are you lying the whole time?! Are you lying about you loving me?...you didn't even tell me anything"

"How am I supposed to trust you? Lisa, why are you hurting me like this? Are they all lying about supporting me? Did you plan all this Lisa?"

"Do you want to see me hurt...making me fall in love with you like this. Is it because of your sisters...are you still with that brat or that assistant of yours!"

"Ah! Could it be your cousin, she was acting too kind after all...hahaha! It can't be your blood-related sister right?! Ah! Or are you just playing with me?! Toying my feelings after I confessed!"

"Is this some kind of game?! Do I look that easy to you?! Is that why you refused me every time? But...you were blushing. Is it only because you blush easily?"

"Ahh! It is so confusing! What do you want from me?! Why did you give me this stupid ring?! Have you done this a lot of times before?! Giving everyone you toyed with a ring?!"

"I don't understand you at all! But...I am still longing for you...my heart is beating fast for you! Only you! Why is that?!"

I continued to talk to myself while crying softly as I clenched the ring

A knock was suddenly heard

"Jennie, are you awake? We need to talk" my grandfather told me

"Yes grandfather" I answered in my monotone voice

"Good, meet me at my office" he added as he walked away

I don't know what I feel for Lisa anymore

Is it hatred? Longing? Sadness? Or did I want revenge?

But what I know is that I still love her...

I went to the bathroom and looked at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes look as dull as ever

"Is that why she left me? Is it because I look dead?! Or is it my fault thinking that you will love me back? Is it because my family is as great as yours? If that is the reason then...I will raise mine as high as yours. No! Even higher!"

"I will make you beg for me! I will make all your pride wash away...I will make you obsessed with me and crave for me! I want to see you suffer the same pain as I feel" I said to myself as I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth in anger

As I finished tidying myself up, I went to my grandfather's office and knocked on it

"Grandfather it's me" I called out

"Come in"

I went in and sat on the couch waiting for him to speak up

"Jennie, I hope you will accept it...I have arranged a marriage between you and a guy named Cha Eunwoo" he said as he stared at me
