The two walked side by side, hands brushing against each other.

The silence was not awkward, it was comfortable.

"So Binnie, tell me something about yourself? Or do you want me to talk about how absolutely stunning you look right now?"

Soobin blushed furiously. They had taken off from school and went to their respective homes, which quite surprisingly, were really near to each other.

Soobin was confused about what to wear, so he decided to dress up in the pretty blue crop top Beomgyu had bought for him as a compensation for leaving him alone to go on his dates.

He applied a little bit of makeup too, hoping Yeonjun wouldn't judge him, which he didn't.

Yeonjun himself looked like a model, I mean, when doesn't he?

The pink tee matched with his hair, he looked extremely beautiful. The black choker with a kitten locket didn't help it at all.

"N-No!! Talk about yourself, you look good too. I mean- anyways let me tell you about myself before I start messing up again", Soobin groaned and Yeonjun laughed.

Soobin was really fond of the other's laugh. It was adorable, the way his eyes crinkled at the corners and two little teeth peeked out—
He really didn't look like the hot guy he was known as in the whole school.

"Stop laughing will you?!"
"Okay Bin, I will," Yeonjun giggled and pretended to zip his mouth shut.

"I-I live with my mum. She's a single mother. My dad... I've never seen him. My mum is like my mother and father. I wouldn't ask for any other person to replace her, I really love her. But..."

He looked at Yeonjun, who nodded encouragingly, showing that he was listening.

"She's not well. She hasn't been doing well for quite some time now. She's bed ridden with some terminal disease, and her condition keeps worsening. Death is inevitable, I know. But... I don't want to lose her. I really miss eating the sweet bread she used to make. The cafeteria's bread will never be as tasty as her's Jjunie." Soobin teared up and sniffled.

"Now let me tell you about myself. My parents are into business. They rarely have time for me and my little sister. They are never at home, so we need to look after ourselves. The nannies and workers we had... My mum shooed them away after she became suspicious of our father sleeping around with them. They don't even trust each other, " the pink haired male chuckled sadly.

"So yup, when I was young, and my sister Jinhee even younger, I couldn't cook. So I would go out to play in the park and buy some sweet bread and pastries from the bakery beside it. That's how I became really fond of it. I would choose ramen and sweet bread over the expensive food my parents bring home from their business trips.

And that's why, I'm quite lonely too. Everyone wants to befriend me, either because of my looks or money. I hate these kind of people. But Hueningkai is different. He came on the first day and sat beside me in the maths class.

After some time, he fell asleep and his head fell down on my tummy, he started giving me belly rubs out of nowhere! He's like an angel, sometimes he can be quite mischievous, but he's the sweetest. I really miss him too." Yeonjun said with a sad pout.

Soobin chuckled, softly rubbing the tears off his face and stopped in his tracks, turning around to face the pinkette, who looked confused as ever.

"Y-you aren't alone now. You have me now. Is that okay?"

Yeonjun broke into a beautiful smile, and pulled the taller male in a tight hug, who yelped in surprise.

"Yes Binnie, it's okay. It's more than okay. It's all I could ask for".
