(A/N : In case you've forgotten, Yeonjun and Soobin lives only a five minutes of walking distance away from each other^^ Also, second last chapter!!)
Christmas Eve.
It was snowing everywhere in Seoul.
Soobin had woken up to a knock on the door. When he had opened it, a sticky note was stuck on the door, and a carton of almond milk on the doorstep.
Soobin loved almond milk. And Yeonjun was very much aware of that.
The bluenette blushed and read the note.
"Hey baby~
Wanna spend Christmas Eve together? Only if you want >< I'll be waiting at the park beside my house at around 8 pm.
Do come :D
- Yeonjunnie~~ '
Did Yeonjun just.... Come to his house only to put up the sticky note? Soobin flushed a deep red at the thought, of course he would spend the day with the pinkette.
He would love to.
It has been a week since Hueningkai came and they didn't get to hang out a lot as Yeonjun wanted to catch up with the younger. So the sudden "invitation" to the park made him feel giddy, nervous too.
He looked like a zombie, sleep deprived eyes, dark eye bags, his hair all over the place. 'Yeonjun will probably kick me out of the park even before I can enter if he sees me like this.'
So now, Choi Soobin was busy preparing for their yet another "friendly" date, picking up outfits and throwing them aside, when he settled for a white sweater, baby pink pants and a pretty white beret.
After adding a little bit of makeup, he rushed to go out, but was stopped by the ringing of the doorbell.
Who could have come now? It certainly wasn't Yeonjun, he said he would wait at the park.
With a slight tilt of his head, he opened the door, eyes widening in realisation.
"Oh? Hello Mrs. Kim! Please come in."
Mrs. Kim, Soobin's neighbour for almost 15 years now. She was very close to his mother, spoiling him with ice cream and all his favourite food whenever she came over. She was just like his second mother, he adored her dearly.
"Soobinie! Did you grow even taller?" She said with a sweet chuckle, "How are you, son?"
"I've been great these days! How about you?"
"Me too, dear. I came to bake cookies with you, but you seem to be going out somewhere? You're all dressed up, looking so adorable."
Soobin flushed at the compliment, shaking his head gently. "Ah no no, I wasn't going anywhere hehe, let's bake cookies then!"
Baking cookies with Mrs. Kim on Christmas Eve was a yearly tradition, and Soobin had totally forgotten about it. Although he was grinning and giggling, actively helping the old lady, all he could think of was the pinkette.
Yeonjun, Yeonjun.
Yeonjun, who was waiting for him at the park amidst the snow, quietly building a snowman and chuckling to himself as he puts a little carrot as its nose. Everything reminded him of the tall, dimpled boy — the white snow reminding him of his soft, pale skin. The carrot reminding him of his bunny teeth and adorable button nose that scrunches up often, melting him and making him fall in love all over again.
Baking cookies was his favourite thing, although it was a lot of work, he loved to decorate the finished cookies.
A bunny, a fox, a little star, a snowman.
By the time Mrs. Kim had gone home, it was already past 10.
Soobin's heart twisted in guilt as he quickly rushed out of his home, jogging towards the park.
Yeonjun had gone home already, or so he thought, until he reached the park, the sight before him making him feel guiltier.
There, Yeonjun was, a gloved hand on top of the snowman's head, nose as red as Rudolph's, looking pretty as always even with his eyes closed, his lean body on the bench, and a little drool at the corner of his mouth.
He had fallen asleep there, waiting for the taller, and he couldn't help but be endeared by this little action of him.
