"Soobin hyung, can I talk to you privately?"

They were busy watching The Descendants, when Yeonjun excused himself to the washroom and Hueningkai took this opportunity to talk to the bluenette without his best friend around.

Soobin quickly nodded and paused the movie, giving his full attention to the younger.

"Hyung, I know you are a good person. You're probably the best thing Yeonjun hyung will ever have in his life. But, don't break his heart or I'll break your bones."

Hueningkai chuckled as he saw Soobin shuddering in fear.

"Not really though, but be careful. He has been lonely all his life. He always seems so chilled and cool with everything, but he's quite sensitive. He gets easily attached to people. He loves people endlessly and selflessly. There have been a few people in the past who took advantage of this, and after that he stopped trusting people. He didn't open up to me for months too, but when he did, I saw how broken he actually was. Soobin hyung, I won't leave him, ever. But I can't be beside him all the time right? Please take care of him. Please take care of Jun hyung for me?" Hueningkai teared up, which he never did.

He always acted strong and tough around everyone. But when it came to things about his loved ones, it easily made him emotional.

Soobin could see how much the younger adored the boy he likes. And he has every right to. Who wouldn't love the pinkette?

Who wouldn't love his pretty black orbs that held more stars than the universe could ever come up with? Who wouldn't love his sweet smile and melodious, nasally voice, his little giggles, his silliness, and the way he loves everyone around him?

Who wouldn't love Choi Yeonjun? It was quite impossible to hate him.

So Soobin nodded gently, wiping away the tears from the younger's eyes and held out his pinkie.

"I promise. I'll always protect him. I don't even know if he likes me back or not, but I definitely love him. So much. And I will never let go of him. You can trust me on this Hyuka."

"Yeah thanks BUT WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE DOESN'T LIKE YOU BACK ARE YOU BLIND—"

"Hey guys what did I miss?" Yeonjun came back, settling down between the two, who fell quiet.

"N-nothing, let's continue watching yeah?" Soobin said quickly, throwing a quick glare at the younger who sat there, smirking.

They weren't aware of it, but Yeonjun had heard some of the conversation.

And now, he had to make a move before it's too late.
