Kanagi's POV

***Elkia Elven Avant Garde Heim

"Why am I here..." I heard Emy whispered in a chair. NKatalikod siya. *Sigh*. "Kanagi??" Napansin niya na pala ko. Ingay ingay kasi ng bibig ko eh! Nahahawa na ko kay Mia -.-.

"I'm sorry." I said sincerly. Alangan naman loloko loko? Yung totoo? Loloko loko mag sosorry? Mas mabuti pang maglaro na lang kung magloloko ako =__=. (Geh mahawa ka lang kayla Leo at Emy.) =___=. Back to reality. So di nagsalita si Emy dahil nagsosorry "You know, I think it's time to tell you my past."

"Go on." She said. Nagfa-flash back na naman lahat sa utak ko.

"Actually, my parents died pitifully. We were a normal happy family back then. We would go out and eat. Sometimes, have a picnic...Apparently, I have a sister. Her name is Mia, you met her before, right? She was 12, 2 years younger than me. My parents rarely fight and I only frequently fight with my sister too-mostly things that you shouldn't be fighting about. In my old school, I act all big brother-ish to her, even protecting her from the bullies. Hahaha~ It was really nice... I have a loving and perfect family. Ah, my life was perfect, oh so I thought, until that happened. It was one time, when we about to go home from the mall. We were all crossing the road and that's the part I really don't wanna remember. I just hope that it would be erased. I saw my parents life flash before me and before I knew it, it was gone. Like a bubble which was popped by a finger. I was frozen at my spot and the vehicle that hit my parents still continued driving after my parents' lifeless bodies were just mere inches apart from me. The driver don't even have any sense of humanity. It was a hit and run. Actually, mom and dad are still alive, but critical and they can't speak. But mom and dad... even in this situation, they smiled at us. It was probably the best smile I could gather from them. But, mom and dad are losing too much blood and my sister and I tried to call for help but of course, I knew they're not going to make it to the hospital. The truth was a bitter pill to swallow. No one helped us,even though there's several people around us. That's when I realized. 'Where's humanity? Can't they just spare a few seconds to help us?' Then, a kind hearted teacher pass by and helped us carry my parents. Luckily, there was a hospital just a few blocks away from the accident. We carried my parents to the Emergency Room and we were asked to stay outside. After that, I felt that I was forever grateful to that teacher. Although, she left immediately because she has classes, but she gave us 150 money. It was really kind of her. I knew it would happen.. My parents were dead on arrival. They were hit badly in the chest-of course there was zero chance of survival. I told my sister that they were just sleeping, but my sister pretended that he believes me although it was clear in his eyes that holds sadness. Then they checked my brother. They found no injuries with me and my sister. My sister, you know, Mia stays with me right now and my Grandmother.... Died."

"Your parents... They died in a terrible way. Though, your brother was lucky he's alive." She said. Nakakalungkot talaga ang nangyari sa mga magulang ko. After nagkahiwalay pa kami ni Mia.

"Yeah."

"But you know... You're strong.. I wonder how you still managed to be smiling at other people." She said. Mula sa pagkakayuko ay napatingin ako sa kanya.

"That's a different story. It's just... Yeah, I know I'm strong. Because I moved on, but it was with the help of my sister. It was really tough-- I have to take care of my brother, and do lots of things. I was also thankful that I survived.. we survived those days. Anyways, I was just curious. I was just curious what that room contains. That's all. And why is that room important to you?"

"It has a lot of memories..." Di ba nakwento niya na storya niya? Oo nga pala. Makakalimutan ka talaga, Kanagi.

"Memories of your parents?" I asked consiously. What does she mean?

"No... by a spirit who lives there." Mirror.... Iyon ang unang pumasok sa isip ko. Of course iyon yung nakita ko eh.

"You mean by the mirror? The one I saw?"

"You saw that? I might as well tell you the story then. In that old mirror, there used to be a person living there. I have found it when I was wandering around in our attic. I called him Zero. He was my first friend in my whole lifetime and we would talk for hours. He was a really good company, and he makes me forget all the bad things in home. My parents don't know him by the way. I am very grateful having Zero as a friend, because he cheers me up during the darkest months of my life-he was the sole reason how I was able to move on. But in Sixth Grade, one year after my parents died, he left. He said that if the magic ran out-he'll disappear, completely. But, he promised me that we'll meet again, someday. And that, was my dream." Speechless

"Wow." Yan. Yan na lang lumabas sa bibig ko. As in woooow. OA ko noh? =___=.

"Do you believe in that?"

Kanagi : Partially.

Emy : It's okay. I understand some people don't kind of believe in magic thingys. But, tell me Kanagi, would you leave me like Zero did?

Kanagi : I won't. I won't leave you. We're friends remember? Friends never leave each other. Even if it's Graduation Day, I'm sure we'll meet again.
Emy : *small smile*
Kanagi : So what made you upset?
Emy : The fact that you entered the rooms without my permission, when it's supposed that I'm the only one allowed.
Kanagi : It's that shallow? Haha, sorry.
Emy : Uh.. Yeah probably not.
Kanagi : Come on, we have to finish the preparations.
Emy : *mindspeak* Also...Zero told me, whoever my first friend in Middle School is, will be the first one to enter this room. .And the one... The reincarnated one.
