The days had gone by calmly in their new house. They had eventually built their bed, and every morning they would wake up together, immediate smiles on their faces when they remembered where they were and who they were with.
And that afternoon, Ji-yeong had stood in the kitchen, home alone while she was making some kind of dinner. Sae-byeok and Cheol should be there any moment, as the older sister would take her brother home from school.
And as she stood there, completely focused on what she was doing, she didn't even notice the slender figure that sneaked up behind her, leaning right beside her ear, "Well, hello there."
Ji-yeong flinched, turning around as quick as she possibly could to find her girlfriend standing behind her, the proudest smirk on her face. "Oh, I'm sorry, did I scare you?" she teasingly asked.
Ji-yeong tried to hold back the smile that was slowly creeping onto her face and sound serious, when she responded, "Nope, not at all. Where's Cheol?"
Sae-byeok chuckled at the girl's response. "He has gotten this friend at the new school, and he asked if he wanted to sleepover at his house. I said yes, but I still got his mom's number.. if anything should, like, happen or something."
Ji-yeong sent Sae-byeok a gentle smile, turning off the stove. "Aw, I'm happy he's gotten a friend. But, now that he's out of the house, don't you think we should too?"
Sae-byeok's head slightly tilted to the side, not exactly understanding what the girl in front of her was suggesting.
"You know, we still have a girls' night out on our to-do list," Ji-yeong told her, beginning to put the freshly-made food in different small containers. "And tonight would be perfect, now that your brother is out of the house."
"Yeah, I would love that, but why are you packing the food away?" Sae-byeok asked, gesturing to the now-closed containers that immediately had gathered a layer of steam underneath the plastic lid.
"On a girls' night out you don't eat at home, Sae-byeok." Ji-Yeong put the containers in the fridge, nudging it closed with her hip. "No, we're going to eat at a restaurant."

The restaurant was lit with hundreds of candles and Sae-byeok could hear some kind of jazz music playing somewhere. It was a nice place. Expensive, as well, but Ji-yeong had insisted that they would do something nice for themselves. Treat themselves a little, as she had said.
"So what could two lovely ladies want for tonight?" a sudden voice asked. Sae-byeok's sight was quick to land on the waiter that had approached their table. He was quite tall, wearing a button-up shirt, just like every other waiter she had seen so far, and a lot of girls would probably classify him as attractive. Not Sae-byeok, though.
Sae-byeok's eyes dropped to the menu that was lying in front of her, ordering what she wanted. The waiter had nodded and written down what she had said before he turned to Ji-yeong that was sitting opposite the tall girl. By the sight of her, his eyes instantly widened a bit before a seductive smirk displayed on his face.
"Well, hello there." His tone was deep and bold, making a strange feeling grow in Sae-byeok's stomach. An uncomfortable feeling. "So what could a pretty girl like you want?"
Ji-yeong looked at him with a raised eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. She gave him her order, finally getting him to go away, but not before he confidently winked at her, Sae-byeok scoffing in disbelief at his action. There was absolutely no doubt. He was flirting with Ji-yeong. Heavily flirting.
