-Emily's pov-
I sat up after I had the same nightmare again, but I saw Jethro going around the house making sure no one broke in. But I held myself and said, "No one is here J-Jethro just a bad dream," he came over but I backed away worried I would hurt him, he stopped and said, "you want to talk about it?" I looked away and said, "It was when me and my twin were closer, he lost his girl to our half brother. Because we got out of our special ops unit, I lived near where my brother lived but in his grief and my anger we contacted our old boss to join this special program."
-Gibbs's pov-
I saw her shaking and said, "Emily you don't," but she said, "I need too...my brother and I were tested on to the point our boss got what he wanted, but he wanted to eraser our memories to be mindless soldiers. Now every time I sleep I just remember the pain I went though and how I almost lost everything just because my anger got the best of me." I couldn't take it and I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back, she cried into my shirt and apologized. This only made me heart broken but I kissed the top of her head and said, "You have nothing to apologize Emily I'm here for you no matter what ok," she pulled away a little and smiled with a few sniffles.
-Third person pov-
Emily couldn't help her feelings anymore and leans up giving Jethro a kiss on the cheek, he was shocked but when Jethro went to question her he saw she felled asleep right after. This made him sigh but he had a calm smile and gently picked her up and took her upstairs to her room, when he laid her down he went to leave when he felt his hand being grabbed.
-Gibbs's pov-
I looked back at her sleeping figure and saw she was slightly wake, she looked at me with begging eyes and said, "Stay please."
