5 YEARS LATER:

Creeeeeeeeek...
Thump...thump...thump......SNAP

Toga's small shivering frame was huddled against the back of the desk. Her clothes were already shabby, even more so now. The pants were ripped all the way to hell, her shirt was split in half showing her fresh wounds that would surely get infected. Her hands were clasped around her mouth, trying to make as little noise as possible, so IT wouldn't get her. She hadn't been careful enough when she was looking for food, it had seen her. Togo slowly looked around to find an escape route when she noticed where she was.

UA

UA looked nothing like it used to. There was dust all around the room. Desks and chairs were flipped. Papers long forgotten on the floor. The windows were cracked some gone, and the full light of the red sun perked in giving a haunting image to all that saw it. Togo nearly cried while looking around, thinking of all the students who were likely dead at this point. The same place she and the rest of the LOV tried so hard to destroy. Who would have thought that there goal would cause the end of the world. End the billions of people's lives. Looking back now, she couldn't believe how stupid she was for not recognizing the signs. They were so obvious. They were given so many chances.

Everytime she or the League began harming someone they reacted the same. It was only when they were about to die that they acted strange. Some began whispering in a language none of them could understand. Others screamed that they would all pay someday. The most scary one was when the person would look them dead in the eyes not making a single sound.

Why didn't she realize it? Why didn't anyone realize it?

There was no one who could answer her.

There was a final screech before IT dropped in front of her.

Her screams echoed throughout the empty corridors as blood splattered against the wall.
