I woke up to the beeping of my clock. I through my pillow at the clock for it to shut up. *ugh. Mondays* i said in my mind.
" Sky are you up?!" I heard down the stairs.
" Yes mom!" I yelled back at her. I laid in bed for about 5minutes, then i decided to get up, only to realized my foot got caught in my covers and all you could hear was a BAM! I ended up on the floor. Next thing i heard little footstep rushing into my room.
" Sky!" " Are you ok?" my little sister Alexis asked.
" Yeah, I'm fine." I mumbled back underneath my covers. Alexis is 5yrs old, but sometime i swear she acts like an adult already. So Alexis just turned and skipped out of my room with her little self. I took the covers off and i stood up catching my balance and I walked to the bathroom, did all business in there. I came back into my room, walked over to my mirror and examine my self. My hair is probably one of the most fascinating things about me; it's black with blue highlights in the front, its kinda a emo lookish style, even though I ain't emo, but all my friends has the emo style, but they ain't emo either, we just like the style. I decided to wear my blue tight skinny jeans with a black tank underneath a buttoned blue silk shirt i brought at DEBs. I put on my eye make-up, straighten my hair, grab my gray tight jacket, grab my batman book-bag, and down the stairs i went. As i walked toward the kitchen i smelled juicy bacons and cheezey scrambled eggs. *YUM!* i screamed in my head. My mom turned around and asked in her motherly tone, "Are you hungry?"
"Heck yeah!" I shouted. What a stupid question to ask. I mean for 16 years I've never missed breakfast, and she wants to ask if I'm hungry?! Has she gone mad?! But I know, I know she is my mother, it's in their "nature". I grabbed a plate put 3servings of eggs on my plate and about eight pieces of bacons. OH! and don't forget the toast. Yeah it's hard to believe a small lady like me can have an massive appetite. A pig that I am, I chowed down my food, gulped down my orange juice, went and washed my plate and glass, had to wash off my face (yeah it tends to get alil messy). I went back into the kitchen where my mom was sipping down her coffee and my sis slowly eating, i put on my jacket, then trough my book-bag on, went over and kiss my mom and sis good bye. I turned and headed out the door, when a heard a voice behind me "HM, aren't you forgetting something?" my mom asked.
I turned to face her and replied, "Uh, no." What could i possibly be forgetting?
"Um, your phone." my mom answered like if she could read my mind, she was pointing to a blue rectangle object in the table.
"Oh, my bad." I went over grabbed my phone and ran out the door. I walked up the driveway to my bus stop, and i stood there waiting. I checked my phone to see that i got a text from my bestie Britt. Britt is like a sister to me, we've been friends since preschool. I opened the text and read, ' mornin smexy! ima b skipin 1block, c ya second! <3'. I didn't reply back, Britt knows that I really don't like it when she skips, so she knows not to expect a reply from me, but it's still nice to know. Britt is always getting into trouble, yeah she is a bad girl, but I love her. I put my phone in my pocket and a screaching up the road ahead to see a big yellow trinkie on wheels pop-up and stop in front of my driveway, the driver motioned me to cross the road. I walked up on the bus, I walked down the aisle and sat in the last seat in the back next to my budd Adam. Like always I find Adam asleep, and a good friend I am, I start to tickle him.
"Ah!" "Aye, aye, aye!" "No need for disturbing my slumber." Adam said rubbing his eyes.
"You know you love me." I replied batting my eyes at him. Of course he starts giggling.
"Briit is skipping first block." I told him.
"Man, what are we going to do with that girl?!" Adam asked almost yelling sarcastically.
"Hell if I know, this ain't the first and defiantly ain't the last." "Britt is going to continue to skip until she gets a car, then she's probably ain't gonna come to school at all!" I nearly almost yelled where people could hear in front of me.
"That chick is going to become a hobo one day, she needs her edumacation." Adam couldn't say that without laughing. Adam and I rode the rest of the way to school in silence. I had a lot on my mind lately; school, friends, job, family, even boys (of course I am a girl, it happens). The bus pulled up to the High School and the driver let us off. I stumbled down the steps almost landing on my ass.
"Women! you are too clumsy to be living!" Adam yelled from behind me,
"I know, you missed it this morning, I legit fell out of my bed." I told him. Of course he starts bust out laughing. . . like always. I continue to walk when from behind i heard "SKY!". . . "SKY WAIT UP!" I turned to see Ash running towards me, knocking down people in front of her(I mean legitly, people are on the ground). Sometime I wonder if Ash is really human.
"Stop laughing at me." Ash said out of breath.
"Well I'm sorry, not my fault you move like an elephant." I said busting out laughing. Ash just stood there glaring at me.
"I'm sorry, LOVE YOU!" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek, then backed up with a huge grin on my face.
"It's fine." She said trying not to giggle. "Are you going to the party this weekend?" Ash asked me.
"I don't know, but I do know one thing. . . Britt is defiantly is going to be there." I said not knowing if Ash knew Britt was skipping this morning.
"Of course she is going to be there." "Besides, where is that crazy chick at any way?" She asked wonderingly.
"She is skipping first block." I answered. Ash didn't reply; she always thinks that Britt is always out with some guy getting her game on, but i know for a fact that Britt is at Mc'Donalds, suffing her face with a Mcgriddle(just saying).
