Life without Sebastian was rough. Luckily, most of the stuff around the farm was done so that didn't put too much on Ben and I. We could handle it if needed, but it was nice having the extra help. We kind of got used to it to be honest. So when Sebastian left, we found ourselves back to square one.

"Hey, it's been almost a month since he's been gone. You need something to take your mind of of him.... How about a card game night? I can invite the guys over. And we can just drink and have fun." Ben said as he made dinner.

I sat at the kitchen table looking out the window.

"Yea... maybe." I replied softly.

Ben sighed. "Erin, I know you're still hurting. But he's gone."

"Ben, I know. But I had no closure. Hell, we don't even know why he left in the first place...he was my happiness. It was nice to feel happiness since mom and dad died. You have no idea how bad I wanted to give up till Sebastian came to our door." I said through a shaky voice.

Ben just looked at me sadly. Even though he didn't like the fact that me and Sebastian had a relationship, he still knew that him leaving me killed me inside.

"Look, I'm just trying to help. I've seen you go from my happy little sister to my little sister that couldn't care less. And as your older brother, it hurts me to see you this way.... If it makes you feel any better, I wanted to punch him in the face so bad for breaking your heart. But I didn't. Took a lot of restraint." Ben said with a little smile.

"Me too." I chuckled.

"So game night Friday?" Ben asked me as he set my plate in front of me.

I nodded.

"Good. I'll text the guys." Ben said as he sat down across from me.

It was Friday night. Ben, Jack, Theresa, Joey and I sat around and played poker. It was nice to see everyone again. We haven't seen each other since Jack and Theresa's wedding.

"Who needs another beer?" I asked as I stood up to walk to the fridge. Everyone raised their hands.

There was a knock on the front door.

"I'll get it." Ben said as he got up and walked out of the kitchen and towards the front door.

He opened the door.

"What the hell man?" Said the annoying voice.

"What are you doing here, Bill?" Ben asked angrily.

"You're having a game night and didn't invite me. So here I am." Bill said with a smile. You can tell he was drunk already.

"Bill, there's a reason why you weren't invited. I don't want you around no more." Ben said.

I walked up behind Ben.

"Hey, there beautiful." Bill said as he gave me that creepy smile.

I shivered. He irritated me so bad.

"Bill, you have to leave." Ben said as he tried to close the door but Bill put his hand up, stopping the door from closing.

"I don't understand why. We're best buds."

"Not anymore, Bill. I really don't like the way you treat my sister. I'm glad I opened my eyes to how inappropriate you are to her."

"Wow. So that stable boy really got to you, huh? You're really picking him over me?" Bill said staggering.

"He's gone, Bill. He left not long after the wedding." Ben said irritated.

Bill gasped. "Gone? Huh. Now I can have my turn at her. Just like he did. I mean, she slept with him, why can't she sleep with me too? Make your rounds, honey."
