A lot can happen in three days

Chapter 36

I forgot to mention this in the last chapter but Blake attends a mortal school in Brooklyn and is only at camp on the weekends during the school year because he still has a place to live during the winter.
Nico's POV
I love the forest in the fall all the different colored leaves and the smell of the autumn breeze. I like taking walks in the forest today I was taking a nice quiet walk by myself since Will is in the infirmary, Crystal has classes and Blake has school. I had a free day today so I figured what the heck. But I had been walking for a while and got lost so I couldn't stay out too long because I have to shadow travel back to camp and Will still doesn't like it.

"Nico di Angelo" a familiar male voice says behind me.
I spin around and smile at the blonde in front of me.
"What's with the full name babe?" I ask my boyfriend.
He laughed,"You must be mistaking me for someone else"
At first I'm confused who this guy was that looked exactly like my boyfriend but eventually I put two and two together,"Lord Apollo my apologizes'' I say embarrassed that I just called god babe.
"No need for apologizing boy it's a common mistake though it is flattering that I could look seventeen'' he says, wow he sure is full of himself.
"To what do I owe the honor of meeting you on this fine day?" I ask confused on why the sun god was visiting me on my walk.
"So I have to have reason to visit my favorite son's boyfriend?" he asks.
"No sir" I say shrinking, even though he looks about my age it intimidates me to think that one wrong move and I could be a pile of ashes on the ground.
"Don't look so nervous I'm not going to do anything to you that would be very responsible would it?" he laughed clasping a hand on my shoulder.
"I suppose so " I squeak out not reassured.
"Why are you out here by yourself" he asks.
"Talking a walking my sister has classes, Blake has school, and Will's in the infirmary" I answer not sure why he's so concerned.
"I see well I guess I'll leave you alone and also I approve of you and you better not do it until after you get married" he says and then he's gone leaving me red faced and confused.

Crystal's POV
"You can do better than that Crystal" Rosy says as I miss the target again for the fifth time in a row. Blake insisted that I learn archery because it's good to be skilled with more than one weapon but I absolutely suck at it I can wield a sword no problem though sometimes I can even beat my brother and he's one of the best sword fighters in camp.
"I can't do this" I whine setting down my bow.
"Yes you can you just have to practice" Rosy said, "your brother learned how"
"I know but this is hard" I sigh.
"Now you know how Will feels and he's a son of Apollo" she laughs.
"Yeah I guess but how'd he get to be head councilor he's sucky at basically everything Apollo related expect healing" I say.
"Well I happen to think he's quite a good singer" I voice says behind me making me scream.
I punch the person in the stomach not caring who it is.
"Who sis I didn't know you hated me that much" Nico laughs from the ground hugging his stomach.
"Sorry you scared me" I admit giving him a hand up.
"I could tell" he laughs.
"and by the way Will sounds like a dying walrus when he sings I think your ears must me clogged" I say.
"Like Blake sounds any better" he replies.
"He doesn't sing at ungodly hours of the night when your truly is trying to get her beauty sleep''
"Whatever"
"Why are you here interrupting my so very successful archery lesson?" I ask hoping that he wasn't watching my crapy archer skills.
"Well I was taking a walk in the forest on my free day but Apollo decided to pay me a visit so I need to be around people who can't incinerate me" he says.
"I don't even know what my dad said to you but I feel bad for you he can be a little overbearing at times'' Rosy laughs.
"Yeah it was a little award especially since I thought he was Will at first and called him babe" he laughs.
"Oh that is just priceless and I'll have to remember that if he comes to give me the overprotective dad talk" I say I would die if Apollo came to talk about my relationship with Blake.
"I still find it ironic that both children of Hades fell for the two most obnoxious sons of Apollo" Rosy laughed.
"You better knock it off before I tell the whole camp about you and Jake" Nico threatens.
"Whatever di Angelo, Crystal are we going to continue your lesson?"
"Uh do you mind if I go with Nico for the rest of the lesson he doesn't have anyone to hang out with" I ask.
"That's fine by me"
"Come on, Neeks lets go do something that isn't archery" I shout pulling Nico by the arm towards our cabin.

So this is chapter one of the two chapters I'm posting today and then I'm getting tired of waiting to put in my second big thing that's not really that big but still but getting Blake and Crystal together had a lot to do with what I'm doing so I'll have two more fluff chapters then things will get interesting again.
