Napakunot noo ako. "Why so sudden?" Eh kasi naman nagkita lang kami nung isang araw tapos biglang gusto niya ulit makipagkita? Ano naman kaya ang dahilan?

"Oh, I just want to discuss some important things." sagot ni Yifan. "I also want to check the menu and the expenses. Things like that." he struggled with his words, as if thinking hard about what to say.

I nodded to the phone, looking at Chanyeol. I shrugged and he nodded, looking back to his laptop and started reading some reports. He pushed his swivel chair closer to the table and I tightened my arm around his neck.

"Tomorrow? You sure about that?" I asked Yifan.

"Of course I'm sure, Baekhyun." he finally said and he's almost grinning. I can tell he's too happy about something. "Will that be okay with you?" he asked. He sounded hopeful.

I nodded to myself, biting my lower lip. "Sure." I answered him. "Resto Hyun-Ae, 10 am?"

Yifan almost laughed. "Great! See you, Baek."

"See you." I said and hung up. I frowned at my phone until the display dimmed. "Weird." I muttered under my breath. Really weird, actually.

"Sino yun?" Chanyeol asked as I slipped my phone back in my pocket. Nakatingin parin siya sa laptop niya habang nata-type gamit ang isang kamay. "A friend of yours?"

I nodded while brushing his hair with my fingers. I played with his soft curls and leaned down so I could rest my head on his. "It's--"

Then suddenly, his phone started ringing. Chanyeol cursed and reached for his phone. He tapped "Answer" and held it to his ear. I closed my eyes, inhaling his scent. I traveled my fingers to the back of his neck and brushed my thumb over his skin. I kissed his temples and I felt him sigh.

Chanyeol started talking. "Oh... No, I didn't. I'm still reading Mr. Lee's report... Really? How much?" then his voice started to tighten. "Mr. Kim? You sure, Mae?... Oh, I see... I already felt like it, though... No. Don't... I'll talk to Jongin about this.... Yes. Stick to that... Good... Thanks... Bye."
