My Two Souls

To infinity and beyond!

(3rd person POV)

Blue slowly wheeled her way into the hospital room. She saw Jonah asleep in his chair and Trevor still unconscious

Due to his injuries and the exhausted state of Cobium, Dr Tanner thought it best to medically put him under so they could both rest and heal

Jonah hasn't left his side

He had a soft cast on his broken arm, stitches and bandages all over his body

It had been a few weeks since the incident and Alpha Lance was able to transfer Trevor to his packs hospital

He had had many visitors since being home. Some wanted to give their condolences to the parents, and others wanted to see for themselves that the little man was okay

Jonah woke up with a start when he heard a whimper. Opening his eyes, he smiled as he saw Blue pulling herself out of her wheelchair and onto the bed. Slowly, she retrieved a small bag which made Jonah even more curious

Watching silently, he saw Blue pull out a can of shaving cream and a razor

It almost brought Jonah to tears

The group of friends knew that Trevor hated facial hair, it was a pet hate of his. When they were younger, he even shaved off his eyebrows once, he didn't look good, so Tina and Scarlet took it upon themselves to draw eyebrows on him until they grew back

Being a while since he had shaven, he had some long whiskers that Blue knew he'd hate it when he woke up

Scarlet walked in with a small bowl of warm water and a little wash cloth. Blue grabbed the cloth and dipped it in the water before gently dabbing Trevor's face. Then she shook the shaving cream can a few times, ignoring the pain, before covering the whiskers with the cream. Slowly, she brought the razor to his face and softly dragged the blade down along his skin

It didn't take long, but Jonah was forever grateful that his friends did that for his mate

Once completely shaven, Blue grabbed the wash cloth again and cleaned up any mess "There you go" She whispered to her little friend "Still perfect"

"Thank you" Jonah said quietly

Blue and Scarlet smiled at him as the other friends walked in "I got great news" Tina smiled joyously, but still kept her voice low "Dads waking him up today"

No one could hide their excitement, especially Jonah. He was going to see those brown eyes again that he loved so much. He was going to hear the voice that echoed in his heart. He was going to see that smile that melted the very core of his soul

Dr Tanner arrived shortly after, followed by Carver and Dolph

Blue moved off the bed and closer to her friends

Everybody was anxious as Dr Tanner injected a blue florescent liquid into the IV, that was supplying fluids and antibiotics to Trevor

Carver was holding one of his sons hands with his husband close behind him, Jonah was touching the broken arm gently, everybody else in the room we're holding their breath

Trevor's eyelids started to flicker and move around, he groaned tiredly as his body was aching all over

Jonah stood and whispered into Trevor's ear "Wake up my love, please open your eyes for me" He stood up straight and Trevor was looking right at him. Jonah couldn't stop the tears as the brown eyes he missed were finally open
