Our usual table spot outside at Stayout we sat, the usual background noise you could hear through the silence, the fairy lights and I forgot to mention the bird fountain in my last description, for bird perching.
All I did was observe, looking at almost everybody around our table and studying them. People? What actually lays within everyone? The questions remained unanswered, you would never know.
My eyes darted around some more before landing on Noah, Liam and Hugo chatting from across the table.
They're really good friends of mine but what's gonna happen one day? One day would surely come when they'll leave my life and won't be part of it anymore, it's so sad I just don't know when it's gonna happen too.
They may even hurt me real bad just like everyone else would surely do or something like that
what are you talking about?
Don't you get it Marbles? Nobody remains in your life forever, not even Momma, or Noah or even Leah, nobody is to be trusted
The heart of Man is filled all forms of the the opposite, you just can't tell who's who, it's crazy when- I flickered my eyelashes when I found Liam, Hugo and Noah paused and staring at me.
W-was I talking out loud? No my presence would've been seen by me, I was just chat-thinking Marbles, is that even a thing? Oh wait. . . were they observing me all this time?
"W-what's the matter?" I tucked my hair, my cheeks heating up
"Why are you so quiet?" Liam chuckled "shy or what?"
Liam's fond of teasing me which I never liked at first but then I've gotten used to it. He's one of the top five most attractive boys at school, he's got nice beautiful black hair with maroon highlights, a slash for a nose, perfect eyes and piercings on both lobes like Noah does.
Describing him as interesting is an understatement, he's a low-key pervert and is one of those guys who would kill you if you touch his girl even though he doesn't have one yet.
"Me? Oh no I'm not" I wrapped my hands around my cup and took a sip avoiding their eyes
"You've been quiet and only said less since we came, is it because you're the only girl here? Or is it-" he looked at Hugo and smirked wagging his eyebrows
"N-no it's not really, it's. . ." what are the words again?
"Liam it's not cause Hugo's here" Noah could tell I was a tomato already
"What is it then?"
"S-seriously, I just can't relate with what you guys are talking about, it's probably about this girl one of you met"
"Not really though, we were talking about what the girls at school said about you"
"Liam?" Noah and Hugo half yelled
"Which girls? What did they say about me" I could see Hugo beckoning Liam not to say anything else
"We agreed on not telling her so she doesn't overthink about it" Noah whispered gritting his teeth
"We did?" He looked up at the sky
"Yes!"
"Somebody say something, what have they been saying?" I demanded
"It's the cheerleading squad"
"I knew it" I snapped "those good for nothing girls, it's simple, all they do is gossip"
"There's no reason to stress Mama"
"What did they say about me?"
"Well they spoke about how you enjoy solitude, your clothes and how weird they think you are"
