One morning, Hiro was in his shed. He was wearing a new coat of paint, and his brass shone like gold. The other engines were talking to each other quietly. Just then, the controller arrived.

"Hiro, I've received word from a heritage railway in Britain. They want to loan you for a few months after they read about you in a magazine. You'll leave next week." He finished, and walked away.

"My my. Only a special, heroic, and selfless engine like me gets to go to Britain." Hiro boasted, hoping for a reaction from the other engines. They ignored him, knowing that he wanted a reaction. "Hmph!" Hiro Nakegurui scoffed. Just as he was pulling out if he sheds, one of the smaller engines said,

"Arigato,baka!"

A week later, Hiro was placed on a large cargo ship. He expected a warm goodbye, but none of the engines said anything. They just glared at him. This made him cross. But not for long. It took quite some time to reach Britain, and the ship sailed many seas and through many storms. At one point, he fell asleep.

When he woke up, he was on dry rails. He looked around, and everything didn't look a lot like home, but he knew he'd enjoy all the attention he'd get from tourists.
