I sit opposite strength and bravery, kindness, dedication, and love; the kind of love that keeps your coffee warm on the coldest winters day. My coffee is billowing steam that dances and swirls in the air, dispersing into a thousand tiny particles. I rise my eyes a fraction so I can watch his brow furrow in concentration, his eyes meticulously watching the pen that glides intricately along the paper. He is both strength and bravery, but also kindness, dedication, and love. He notices me watching him and lifts his head, his piercing crystal eyes searching mine. A slow smile grows on his face, the left side rising slightly higher than the right to create an amused grin that illuminates his entire face.
