When I woke up the next morning, Hoseok was in the room already, I'm guessing tending to things. He was opening the curtains at the window when I looked up. "Oh, good morning Y/n! How are you feeling?" Hoseok came over to me, slipping a pair of gloves on and grabbing his stethoscope."I'm feeling a bit better now, I guess. But, could you maybe tell me what happened to me? I can't really remember much of anything." I asked as I gently shifted under the covers.
"Well, obviously you remembered me, which is good. And you remembered Namjoon, which is even better! He promised to explain everything once you woke up. He really just wanted you to try and get some rest. Just let me examine you really quick and then I'll go get him if you'd like?"
I nodded, "Sure."
He smiled, then placed his stethoscope against my chest, "I want you to tell me if anything hurts, okay?"
I nodded. "I will." I winced when the cold metal came in contact with my skin.
"Does that hurt?"
"Yeah, just a little. Sorry." I whispered the last part, embarrassed.
"Hey, it's okay. I told you to tell me if something hurt. Just a second, I'll get you some medicine." I waited while I guess he listened to my heart, trying to ignore the pain in my chest. He finally took the stethoscope off, placing it back around his neck. "Well, your lungs definitely sound better this morning than last night. I am still hearing wheezing too, which I'm guessing is from your asthma. It's not that big of a deal, but I'll let Namjoon know, and we'll keep an eye on that. I'll get you some medicine now." Hoseok said whilst turning around.
"So, Y/n, I wanted to ask you last night, but realized I should wait till this morning when you were fully awake to answer me." He laughs. "And probably not while you were in pain. But you clearly remembered Namjoon, so I wondered if you remembered me too? Like, remember me, remember me?" Hoseok tilted his head to the side and smiled, giving me a bright grin as he awaited my answer.
"Of course, I remember you, Hobi. I definitely could not forget you. I think I was just really confused last night. You're still friends with my brother, aren't you?" I questioned, just to make sure that I had my facts in order.
"Yes, I am! I'm happy you remember me too, Y/n." Hoseok smiled.
I just nodded and watched as he gave me more medicine through my IV to compensate for my pain. "How could I forget? You were always the sunshine of the group," I said, smiling.
Too bad you failed to notice the blush spreading across Hoseok's cheeks when you complimented him.
"A-Anyway Y/n, you should start to feel better in a couple of minutes. I'll go get Namjoon for you now." Hoseok waved a quick goodbye and left the room quietly closing the door.
